Wet Wednesday Walkies with Jan 🐾
Gosh what a difference from the sunny dry weather I had yesterday !!!
Wet windy weather for my walks today and 5 soggy doggies ☔️💨

Tuesday Walkies with Jan 🐾
After a night of heavy rain, my boys Max, Kingsley, Bailey and I were so lucky to have a dry day of fun in the sun ☀️

Max enjoyed a stroll with myself and fellow dog walker Sue & her lovely very well behaved pack 👍
Kingsley enjoyed running around Cantley and climbing onto tree logs 🪵
Bailey enjoyed finding treats in the logs and playing ball 🥎
So good to be back after the heatwave last week and having to cancel all my walks 🥵

Walkies with Jan 🐾
Looking after Pippa this weekend and yesterday was a hot one 🥵
Cooler today so a nice walk this morning with Pippa and Ruby 🩷💙

Drop in for Chumley today as far too hot for walkies 🥵 had lots of strokes and cuddles in their garden and kept him in the shaded area with water and treats and a mini fan which he loved 👍
Looking forward to getting back to Walkies next week as cooler weather.

I Made the decision to cancel all walks this week as rather lose income than having a doggie poorly with heatstroke , it’s just so hot here and even I am melting and I am not wearing a fur coat and I don’t have bare feet on the hot ground 🫠

If your dog walker is cancelling walks this week and offering pop-ins instead, it’s because your dogs welfare always comes first

In these temperatures, the risk of heat stroke is hugely increased and no walk is ever worth putting any dogs life at risk.

Please also remember:
When we cancel walks, we also lose income. We make these decisions because we care more about your dogs safety than making money ❤️

It’s heartbreaking to still see people walking dogs during the hottest parts of the day, especially at lunchtime. It is just so dangerous for them!💔

What can you do instead of physical exercise??
🐶Mental stimulation🐶

Short training sessions, enrichment games, snuffle mats, lick mats, frozen treats, and scent work are all amazing ways to tire dogs out safely!
