ENTRY ETIQUETTE / RULES REMINDER

Please can i remind all our visitors, for everyone's safety and to support reactive dogs - of the rule that you can only enter the car park when it is clear of previous visitors. You should never enter when someone else is in there.

There is no exception to this including if the previous visitors are late leaving. (if this happens and your time is shortened please let me know).

If this happens to you before you leave please also let me know.

I think these incidents are very rare - and this message is a gentle reminder.

Thank you. 😊

PS benches back in tomorrow.

DRONES

If anyone sees people parking in the layby by the gate flying a drone please can you message / call me. This is not permitted as they are flying it over private land.

Thank you to one of our visitors today for letting me know this is happening.

POND UPDATE

The pond is currently empty. We are waiting to find time to fence it off to make it more secure as requested.

In the meantime please feel free to use the paddling pool at the entrance - new one just purchased.

Many thanks

SUFFOLK RAM!!

This morning my husband put one of our rams in the field next to the dog park - we wanted to see if it would be an issue and if we could use that part for him.

Thank you for your messages today and feedback. It appears 'Wilbur' loves all the dogs but some are not fond of him.

He will therefore be moved tomorrow morning.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused and if you would like a refund for today please message me.

Lou

Hello

With the weather warming up again we will put in similar guidelines as before to keep dogs safe. As a reminder these are:

1. We will remove the toys from the shed and request you not to bring any.

2. Put the chairs outside the shed so there is room for dogs to have shade

3. Cleaned the pond out and provided the small paddling pool.

4. We have extended the hours from 5am to 10pm

Thank you

Lou

HOT WEATHER ADVICE

With the hot temperatures expected we are making some changes to help keep dogs safe based on advice which you can find here:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/ce839egxynwo

1. We will remove all the balls and throwers
2. We wiii put the chairs outside the hut to provide more shade space inside for them
3. An additional small doggy paddling pool will be put out

Please be sensible and adhere to guidance to protect your dogs. We are open 6am to 9m so there is time at the start and end of the day to enjoy the field when it is cooler.

How to make sure your pets are cool and comfortable during periods of hot weather.
