Due to a few cancellations, I now have 3 spaces available on this Sunday's Swim Day.

The day includes a swimming session followed by a trip to one of our enclosed fields in the afternoon, giving the dogs the best of both worlds โ€“ plenty of exercise, enrichment and fun! ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ’ฆ๐ŸŒณ

Full Day: ยฃ40

And before anyone asks... yes, despite the van deciding to have a meltdown at the worst possible time, Swim Day is still going ahead! ๐Ÿš๐Ÿ™ˆ We'll just be travelling in the car instead and arriving in style. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

๐Ÿš Van Update ๐Ÿš

My usual mechanic came out on Saturday and was ready to do the repair, but unfortunately the part that was delivered turned out to be the wrong one, so the van couldn't be fixed. To make matters worse, he's going on holiday for 10 days from tomorrow... excellent timing from the van as always ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™ˆ

The van currently needs the following before it's safe to be back on the road:

โ€ข Offside front wishbone
โ€ข Water pump (this is what's leaking)
โ€ข Alternator belt (which drives the water pump and is worn/cracked)
โ€ข Both front tyres
โ€ข Tracking/alignment
โ€ข Front brake pads

So now begins the fun task of finding a garage that can fit me in and get everything done as quickly as possible. A mobile mechanic may be able to do some of the work, but I'd still need a garage for the tyres and tracking ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™ˆ

For the next few days (or possibly weeks, depending on how quickly I can get it sorted), I'll be working from the car. I'll do my absolute best to fit everyone in as normal, but if you'd prefer to skip a walk this week, just let me know.

๐Ÿš Van Update

The van is off the road until some point on Monday. It's having quite a bit of work done over the weekend, and once that's finished it still needs two new tyres and the wheel alignment doing on Monday.

This means I'll be without the van on Monday and will need to start a little later while the remaining work is completed.

If you don't need me on Monday, or if you're able to swap your day, please let me know as it would really help.

I'll be using my dad's old car in the meantime, which is a bit of a saving grace! It's actually being cleaned on Wednesday before being sold, so this will be the last chance for the dogs to travel in luxury. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Everyone booked in for the weekend is fine and I'll still be collecting your dogs over the weekend ๐Ÿ˜†
