Just a gentle reminder that dog walking is not just “walking around with dogs” 😅
It’s slipping through fields that no longer qualify as land… just mud with opinions.
It’s being dragged by dogs who have suddenly discovered Olympic-level strength.
It’s rain coming at you sideways for absolutely no reason.
Boots? Soaked.
Trousers? Muddy up to places mud shouldn’t reach.
Hands? Frozen.
Dignity? Left somewhere in the field around 10am.
And yet…
All dogs walked.
All tails wagging.
And I’ll still be back tomorrow doing it all again 🙃🐕
Because apparently, I love this job.
Send help. Or biscuits. Or sunshine. 🌦️😂

Important Update for This Week😎☀️🥵

With the warmer weather forecast, I’ll be making a few changes to keep your lovely dogs safe:

• Walks will be scheduled earlier in the day to beat the heat.

• Walks may be shortened if I feel it necessary to reduce the risk of heatstroke, which can sadly be fatal.

• If I feel it’s too risky to walk safely, walks will be cancelled and you’ll have the option of a home/garden visit instead for playtime and toilet breaks.

As always, your dogs’ safety comes first. Thanks so much for your understanding — and fingers crossed for a lovely (but not too hot!) week!
