PAYMENT INFORMATION
answering your frequent questions regarding payment.
With Anya’s pet sitting, payment is stress free and easy. I understand that you would rather focus on your trip away than worry about paying the house sitter, which is why i take payment through cash or bank transfer!
“When do i pay you?”
I take payment before or during the first day of pet/house sitting. i do not expect you to pay months in advance to “lock in” your booking.
“why do you take payment before you’ve finished pet sitting?”
I take payment during the first day of pet sitting to ensure i am able to afford the upkeep of my business. i am fully insured and pay insurance costs monthly. I also take payment beforehand to ensure i am able to provide myself with food for the duration of my pet sitting so that you can come back to all your food untouched. Although my regular clients allow me to have their food, i’d rather bring my own and make sure you can still have the food you bought in for your own home!
additionally, i don’t want to have to ruin your relaxation or your trip by reminding you of the cost once you’ve returned, i’d prefer for my customers to pay before the end of their trip and not have to worry about it ☺️
“how do i pay you?”
I am happy to accept bank transfer or cash, just let me know which method you’d prefer to pay through.
When leaving cash, please let me know where you have left it, or put my name on a piece of paper with the cash; as i will not touch cash left in properties unless i am 100% certain it is my payment.
