A little look at some of my happy clients! 🐾

I thought I’d put together a little collage of some of the gorgeous animals I’ve had the pleasure of caring for — and of course, my own little zoo too! 😂❤️

From dogs and cats to tortoises, frogs, reptiles and everything in between, I genuinely love caring for all the different characters I get to meet. 🐶🐱🐢🐸🦎

One of the things I love most about Kirsty’s Tails & Scales is that no two visits are ever the same. Whether your pet needs a good walk, a pop-in, feeding, attention or specialist reptile care, I always treat them as if they were my own. ❤️

And yes… my speciality really is reptiles & unusual pets! 🦎🐢🐸 I absolutely love getting to know all the little personalities and making sure they’re happy, comfortable and well cared for while you’re away.

It’s amazing fostering dogs…. Mostly.
You take in a dog that has been mistreated, or kept in a crate all its life for breeding, or just a dog that isn’t loved anymore or the owners have no choice but to put them up for adoption … and you give them a new life full of joy and happiness.

It’s the most rewarding volunteering I’ve personally done.

But sometimes you can’t always save them all.

Lenny was a 2 year old breeding stud, he was skinny, kept in a crate with no walks, smelt to high heaven, was so scared about everything

But with alittle time and love (and a good shower) he came out of his shell, put on weight and was on his way to being ready for rehoming.

He had a limp, so he was see by a vet who x-rayed him, found out that due to poor breeding his whole back end was distorted and deformed.

The only option was to put him to sleep as it was only going to get worse and cause him pain n& issues

I feel like we failed him , but not down to what we have done, but others who don’t care about the lives of these animals… it’s just a quick buck to them.

So think about this if you are interested in rehoming a dog…. Not all breeders are like this but I can tell you a lot of them are
