Ziggy had his second session with me today and he is doing amazing! His future as a therapy dog is looking bright but we are just at the start of his journey! 💙💙

Today a very exciting new journey begun 🥹🥹 meet Ziggy the cockapoo his owner has decided to take the journey for Ziggy to become an assistance dog for her son 💙 and I am honoured that she has asked me to support with training I cannot wait to see how Ziggy’s story goes and the amazing work he will achieve 💗

What a result! 🐾

Just 3 sessions was all it took to achieve this transformation with Rolo the Pomeranian, and I’m absolutely chuffed and so is his owner! 🥰

They can now enjoy much more relaxed and enjoyable walks together, without Rolo barking at everything that moves.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with this little guy and watching his confidence and behaviour improve. 💙🐶

Well done, Rolo! 👏.

More training with Rolo today and I’m over the moon not quite greeting dogs yet but to be this close to another dog with no barking is an unreal result 👏💙

Yesterday I hit the biggest achievement of my career so far 🥹 we successfully trained a therapy dog🫡 this one was personal and I’ve learnt so much a long the way what an achievement. The behaviourist was so shocked at how good she is at such a young age 👏

🌟🐾 TODAY, OUR GIRL LUNA DID IT! 🐾🌟

Today is a day that me and Jess will never forget ❤️

After all the training, hard work, patience, challenges, tears, little victories and countless hours of believing in this amazing girl… Luna has officially passed BOTH her Therapy Assessment AND her Assistance Dog temperament assessments! 🥹🐶💜

And what an assessment it was!

Over 3 hours, Luna was put through so many different situations to see how she coped, behaved and responded.

We took her down busy Harborne High Street, into cafés, book shops, charity shops, restaurants where she had to remain calm while meeting and greeting people. We visited Warley Woods, completed meet and greets with selected dogs and put her through a whole range of different environments and situations.

She also completed assessments within our own home, showing that the skills she has learned aren't just something she can switch on for a few minutes, they are becoming part of who she is 🥹

And Luna was simply AMAZING❤️

She took everything in her stride. She listened, she worked, she stayed focused and she showed exactly why we have put so much time, love and dedication into her training.

And today also marks something incredibly special for Therapeutic Animal Assisted Care…

🐾💜 We can officially say that Therapeutic Animal Assisted Care now has a qualified Therapy Dog, Luna 💜🐾

For us, this isn't just about passing an assessment or receiving a qualification.

It's about what Luna will be able to bring to people. The comfort, connection, reassurance and support that she can provide, and the difference her presence can make 🥹

From the tiny puppy who first came into our lives to the incredible girl standing beside us today… look how far you've come, Luna. 🌙🐾

Me and Jess honestly couldn't be more proud of you 🥹❤️

To everyone who has supported us, encouraged us, watched Luna's journey and believed in what we're trying to achieve, thank you. It means more than you know.

This is only another chapter in Luna's journey…

But it's a very, very special one 💜
