Another rainy adventure for the gang today, and judging by the photos, some enjoyed the wet weather a little more than others! 🐶🤎

Plenty of running around, woodland exploring, muddy paws and lots of sniffing along the way. 🍂🐾

And then there’s the journey home… three very soggy dogs, with some looking a lot happier about the situation than others! 😂💦

But that’s all part of the fun — a little rain doesn’t have to stop a good adventure!

If our dogs could talk, I reckon they’d have a few things to say! 😂

🐽 “Let me sniff!” – Walks aren’t just about exercise. Sniffing is how dogs explore the world and provides important mental stimulation.

🐕 “I don’t need to walk at 100mph!” – Sometimes a slower walk with plenty of exploring is more enjoyable than rushing around.

🧠 “I get bored too!” – Dogs need mental stimulation as well as physical exercise. Games, puzzles and little challenges can make a big difference.

💤 “It’s okay for me to do nothing!” – Rest is just as important as activity. Dogs need time to relax and recharge.

❤️ “I just want to spend time with you!” – Sometimes a cuddle, a little playtime or simply being together is enough.

Every dog is different, and understanding what makes them happy is all part of giving them the best life possible. 🥰

🥕🐾 Carrots – a simple, healthy enrichment treat! 🐾🥕

Sometimes the best treats are already sitting in your fridge! 😂

Carrots are a favourite in our house, and they’re a great way to give the dogs something tasty to crunch on. 🐶🤎

🥕 Low in calories – a healthier alternative to many shop-bought treats.

🦷 Crunchy goodness – chewing raw carrots may help gently clean the teeth, although they’re no replacement for brushing.

🧠 Mental enrichment – chewing gives dogs something to focus on and can help keep them occupied.

💪 Packed with goodness – carrots contain fibre, beta-carotene and vitamins.

🐾 Natural chewing – a simple way to encourage a dog’s natural chewing instincts.

We love a bit of balance when it comes to treats, and carrots are definitely one of our favourites!

Just remember to wash them, offer an appropriate size for your dog and supervise them while they’re chewing. 🥰

Happy dogs don’t always need expensive enrichment toys! 🥕🤎

Another lovely walk with TT Tails, and the rain certainly didn’t stop the fun! 🐶🤎

Max was in his element splashing around in a massive puddle, while Hope and Cullen were enjoying their rainy adventure too! 😂💦

Wet walks can be great for dogs! The rain brings out lots of new smells, puddles offer different textures to explore, and a change in weather can make their usual walks even more exciting and stimulating. 🐾

A little rain never hurt anyone… although the towels might be working overtime when we get home! 😂

A little Sunday enrichment for the boys 🐾🤎

One KONG each, filled with natural yoghurt and finished with a KONG treat. Simple, tasty and a great way to keep those busy brains occupied! 🐶🐶

💡 Tip: You can pop them in the freezer on hot days for a cooling treat, or simply freeze them whenever you want the enrichment to last a little longer. ❄️

Enrichment doesn’t have to be complicated — sometimes the simple things work best! 🐾

Not every treat has to be the healthiest option on the shelf. Sometimes enrichment, stimulation and simply giving our dogs something enjoyable to do matters too. 💛

Today’s KONGs are ready to go — a tasty treat and, more importantly, something to keep those busy spaniel brains occupied! 😂

Enrichment can encourage natural behaviours, give dogs something to focus on and add a little variety to their day.
