A little cooler weather is finally on the horizon!

While we’re all absolutely still being careful in the sun, conditions are looking slightly more comfortable, so there’ll be some more dog walking availability alongside my usual early morning and evening slots.

Of course, for dogs who are extra sensitive to the heat, my pop-in visits and home care visits are still available too; keeping them cool and entertained from the comfort of their own home ☀️

🪮 brushing your dog 🐾

Regular brushing helps remove loose fur and dead skin, reducing matting & promoting better airflow through your dog’s coat. This can help them regulate their body temperature more effectively during heatwaves like this one🌡️

It’s also a great opportunity for bonding, desensitisation to handling and grooming, and getting your dog comfortable with being touched.

And if they weren’t good enough reasons, they’ll look and feel their best… plus your floors & hoover will thank you 🤩🧹

To keep our canines comfy and safe, I’ll be substituting daytime walks this week for morning/evening walks instead, along with daytime pop-in visits for dogs that need a toilet break, fresh water or a bit of company throughout the day.

It’s set to be super super hot this week! Help your dog cool down with a comfort break courtesy of Castle Town Canines.
