Guess who it landed on this month?

✨ Snoop & Rory! ✨

These two are so deserving of their win. Snoop’s obedience on walks is getting so much better as the weeks go by, and Rory has really started coming out of his shell as he grows. Watching their bond develop from when Rory first came into the fold has been so special and seeing their personalities shine more each week is just lovely🫶

As their little well done, they’ve won:

☀️ Meet Sunny ☀️

This handsome boy is Sunny, a 4 year old cat with a big personality and an even bigger love for head scratches and ear rubs 🐾

Very much like my Trev at home, Sunny loves exploring the avenue and likes to think he’s the boss of the neighbourhood… especially when it comes to the other cats 🤣 But despite his tough little reputation, he’s an absolute sweetheart with his humans 🧡

I’m currently looking after Sunny while his family are off enjoying a lovely cruise holiday, and we’re already having a great time together!

Wish me luck keeping this little adventurer out of trouble 😅🐈

☀️ HOT WEATHER UPDATE ☀️

I hope everybody is enjoying this sunshine and has had a fab bank holiday weekend! All clients have now been contacted regarding this week’s heat and all midday walkies are cancelled to keep your pups safe and comfortable 🐾

I’ve agreed some 30 minute pop-ins instead for water top ups, toilet breaks, garden time and plenty of fusses ❤️

Unfortunately I can’t offer early morning or late evening alternatives this week as I’m currently cat sitting a lovely new addition to JJL’s Happy Paws… a gorgeous boy called Sunny how fitting for this week😍☀️ who you’ll all be meeting on my socials very soon!

A few reminders for keeping your dogs safe in this heat:
🦮 Avoid walks during the hottest hours of the day
✋ Check pavements with your hand before walking
💧 Keep fresh water available at all times
🌳 Stick to shaded areas and keep activity low
🥶 Cooling mats, frozen treats and enrichment games are great alternatives to walks
