🌊☀️ A little bit of downtime... ☀️🌊

After a very busy July and start to August, it's lovely to slow the pace for a couple of days. ❤️

The last couple of weeks have been a whirlwind, from a weekend of holiday cover, straight up country for a very sad family funeral, and then straight back into a five day holiday cover with the most wonderful little herd, who were an absolute joy to look after. 🐴🤍

August is continuing to be a busy one, with a couple more holiday covers in the diary, and making sure I set aside a little time for some riding of my own too.

🐴 A little end of month reminder 🐴

As we reach the end of July, we'd be really grateful if all payments for **July bookings** could be settled today, along with any feeds or extras purchased during July. 😊

This doesn't include bookings that are continuing into August, as those will be invoiced once they're complete.

🐴💚 What a lovely couple of days it's been here at Camel Valley Equine Services! 💚🐴

I've been lucky enough to spend time with some wonderful familiar faces, as well as lots of utterly gorgeous newbies 🥰 It's been full of happy horses, adorable minis, countless steps, and plenty of scratches and cuddles.

There was even one incredibly friendly cat who seemed determined to come home with me. It took me five attempts to escape without gaining an unexpected passenger in the car 😂

Tomorrow morning, I'm back with two very sweet mares before signing off for a few days, as we're sadly heading up country for a family funeral ❤️

After that, it's straight back into a busy end to July 🐴

A little reminder that **August is limited** as the diary is busy with holiday cover bookings, whilst also making sure I set aside a little time for riding and adventures with the tiny apprentice.

Thank you, as always, for trusting me with your wonderful horses. It really is a privilege to care for them 🤍

🐴 Back to it after a few days away in Devon🐴

Yesterday morning started with two wonderful pre-visits. One of which was for a lovely owner and her two gorgeous mares 🤍

I always like to arrange a free pre-visit, wherever possible, for new horses and owners. It gives me a chance to gather all the important information I need, learn routines and preferences, and most importantly, allows the horses to become familiar with me before I care for them on my own 🐴💚

Then it was on to two very familiar faces in the form of two unforgettable geldings who I simply adore. Their soppy, affectionate and sweet nature makes them impossible not to love 🥰 They are also lucky enough to live on a fantastic yard with such content, calm horses and minis. It's always a pleasure to spend time with them 🐴✨

July is fully booked and August is nearly at capacity with holiday cover bookings already in the diary. I also need to make sure I set aside time for riding and adventures with the tiny apprentice too! ☀️👧🐴

As always, I do my very best to fit in my wonderful regulars, who I am incredibly lucky to have 💚 If you know you'll need help over the coming weeks, whether that's holiday cover, appointments or horse care support, please do get in touch sooner rather than later 😊

What a glorious five days of holiday cover it has been!

I've loved spending time with my gorgeous regulars, getting to know them even better and enjoying plenty of cuddles and scratches 🥰

Now it's time for a little family time of my own, as I head away for five days, before jumping straight back into more holiday cover, happy horses and pony cuddles when I return 🐴☀️

From start to finish, Nicole was absolutely fantastic. Her calm, kind and reassuring manner had the pony feeling at ease, and it was lovely to watch such thoughtful and compassionate care in action 💚
