No two dogs are the same… and Rupert and Soozie couldn’t show it better. 🐾

Rupert: young, affectionate, full of energy and always ready to turn anything into a game — especially if water is involved!

Soozie: a sweet older lady, a little cautious but incredibly curious. She liked to keep me or Zoe close and quietly follow whatever we were doing.

Two completely different personalities, each special in their own way.

And that’s one of the things I love most about my job: I don’t expect a dog to adapt to me. I learn how to adapt to them. ❤️🐾

I thought it was time to introduce the person behind Zoe’s Friends… and of course, Zoe had to be in the picture. 🐾

I’m Lorena, and when Zoe came into my life, I had no idea that my love for animals would one day become my job.

At that time in my life, I simply felt the need to have someone to care for. Then a friend introduced me to Zoe… and that’s where it all began.

Building our relationship has been a real journey. I had to learn to understand her and get to know her, with the help of a trainer, but most of all by sharing our everyday life together. There were lots of attempts, mistakes, small steps forward and so, so much love.

Without even realising it, while I was learning about her, I was also learning something that I now carry with me every time I meet a new dog: no two dogs are the same, and each one deserves to be listened to, understood and respected for who they are.

Little by little, that journey became something I had never planned: Zoe’s Friends became my job.

But this is only part of our story… I’ll share the rest with you, little by little. 🐾❤️

A different kind of morning for Zoe and me today! 🐾

We were invited to The Mucky Pup CompanyMucky Pup Company to discover their secure dog field, and of course Zoe was more than happy to test it out! 😄

She had the freedom to explore, sniff around and enjoy herself at her own pace, while I got to discover a lovely safe space for dogs to have some off-lead fun.

Thank you for inviting us. We had a great time! ❤️🐾
