Over the weekend we went to collect some donations from the lovely team at the Gatehouse Cattery in Bournemouth.

When cats are with us at Corbiere Cat Cabin they are given a plush bed and blankets to help them get cosy. Depending on which they prefer, either the bed or blanket will go with them when they are adopted / go to their next foster space / return home, so that they have something that smells, looks and feels familiar to take with them.

The Gatehouse Cattery have very kindly been donating plush beds for those cats that choose this over the blankets - thank you!

It's always lovely to see other cat care environments and it has to be said that the facilities The Gatehouse Cattery offer are absolutely phenomenal. We saw so, so many happy and content cats - some in indoor only rooms and many with personal conservatory style catios. The staff spend dedicated cuddle time with each and every cat, getting to know them, their likes, dislikes and their habits so that their stay at the cattery can be as comfortable as possible.

This really is a 5 star 🌟 cattery and we would highly recomend them.

Our Fang-Tastic Fundraiser is getting closer and we are sooooo excited. We love the opportunity to catch up with fellow fosterers, with local rescues, small independent businesses and, of course, each and every one of you that comes along.

Those who have visited Corbiere Cat Cabin recently will have seen that we have lots of Bric-a-Brac donations to sell (thank you 😘). With that in mind, we are hoping to sell these donations on at our event. Prices start at just 50p and max out at £2 so there's some serious bargains to be had 😻

📆 31st October 2026
⏰️ 1pm - 3:30pm

A reminder that Melly's Munchies are very kindly holding a sweet and treats r🍬ffle to raise money for Corbiere Cat Cabin. 🎟 are a bargain price and the prizes are absolutely amazing.

Money raised will help replenish our emergency / maintenance fund which we used on the catio roofing.

Please do head over to take part - thank you as always for your support 💖😻

💕 We Have Catio Roofing 💕

Wow, what an incredibly busy weekend we've had, between Friday and Sunday we have had 23 visitors at Corbiere Cat Cabin - some to meet and greet cats, some to cuddle cats, some just to have a look around at what we do and some volunteers from the wider cat rescue / sanctuary network coming over for a catch-up or to see cats they've previously supported in some way.

One of the visitors we had is the roofer 👏 We are so pleased to say that the catios and the airlocks on both the Enas Suite and main cabin have roofs 🎉🥳🎊🙌

A big thank you to everyone who has contributed and supported with getting us to this stage - it's been a long fundraising project running over many months. Thank you for getting us to the ta-da! stage 🥰😻😽

Our next step is to add some more solar powered lights, some guttering for the rain and a water butt 💡💧

🎅🎄🐾 Santa Paws Is Coming to Town.....well his Elves are and they're ready making items for fundraising 🐾🎄🎅

Whilst preparing for our own fundraising event on 31st October 👻 we are also getting ready for the many, many events we're booked onto in November and early December. These events enable us to raise money that will see Corbiere Cat Cabin is kept toasty warm and well stocked through the winter and early months of 2027 when fundraising is much slower ❄️

🧦🎄Some of the items we are going to be selling at these events include handmade cat stockings with treats and toys 🧶 cat gift hampers 🧺 and lucky dip (cat) toy bags 🍀 🛍

Before we buy the items we're missing for these, we thought we'd share our shopping list here as we know some of our members prefer to support in this way.

If you are wanting to buy from our Christmas fundraising wish list, firstly thank you so much 😽 and secondly, if for any reason the address bit doesn't work (🙈) please message us and we can send you the address 📍

😻 Indoor Only Rescue Cats Available For Adoption - Upton, Dorset 😻

Bondok (orange eyes) and Snowflake (blue eyes) are two gorgeous rescue boys that are now available for adoption from Corbiere Cat Cabin, a sanctuary for cats in need based in Upton, Dorset.

Whilst the boys aren't bonded it would be our preference to home them together🙏

These are two of the friendliest boys you could wish to meet, they are definitely lap cats and would make the most amazing companions.

Each boy is neutered, microchipped, flea and worm treated, they've recently had a dental check and have a clean bill of health.

Whilst the boys are indoor only, access to a secure catio would be wonderful, but is not essential.

If you are interested in meeting the boys with a view to adopting them, please do send the page a message or message Katy Corbiere directly.

A home check and adoption fee apply.

Thank you 💙💙
