The lavender retrieve winner is Trev.
It was a very strange competition !
Trev went first and initially picked up a blank. There were three scent carrots to choose from. She then grabbed the correct carrot and brought it back.
This should have left the gate open for Nigel who does some really fast retrieves but even though he works with lavender, he refused to pick the carrot up! He eventually brought it back but the time was so slow it put him in last place.
Saffy can retrieve but can also run around with the scent article. This time she done a little of each putting her in third place.
Lastly, Izzy, who has never done a full retrieve, decided to bring the correct carrot to mum, albeit in a slow time. But she done it and earnt herself second place.
What a palaver but great fun for the dogs.
Only 4 in it this time but well done to all the teams
