Happy Easter my furry pals. Hope that you're all keeping well and looking forward to the Easter break (keep away from the chocolate).

Think we were all hoping for some nice warm, dry weather but think we may be having flying trampolines & fences again.

If you are planning a trip out (fuel prices allowing) be aware that yesterday I was hearing reports of filling stations running out.

Hope to see you all soon. Take care my furry friends.

Hi my furry pals

As we sit here today on the Winter Solstice probably wrapping the last few gifts to put under the tree, let's look back at the year that we've had. The new pals that we have welcomed into our lives but also, sadly, those who have left us for various. All will be very much missed.

2026 is just around the corner, I wonder what events it will hold for us, new paths for some and new beginnings for others.

As this year comes to a close, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for allowing me to walk and care for your furry family members.

I hope that you have a nice relaxing Christmas and New Year with lots of lovely walks and look forward to seeing you all soon. Take great care.

Hi my furry friends. Hope you are all well. Anyone feeling festive yet, only 25 sleeps to go until you find out if you're on the nice list (which I'm sure you are as you've all been very good this year).

I still have a few spaces available over the holidays (yes, I'm working everyday) for pop-in's and dog walking plus small animal/cat sits.

Take care on these dark walks and remember not to feed chocolate and raisins to your dogs.

See you all soon my furry pals.

Hi my furry friends, hope you are all keeping safe and well now that the clocks have changed.

Please take a few minutes when getting ready for your autumn walks to think about you and your pals. Can you be seen, do you have a torch.

Also, spooky season and bonfire night are almost here. Please be careful as pets can be easily frightened by fancy dress costumes and keep sweets/chocolate away from them.

I think that fireworks may last quite a while this year, please watch your pals when out and about.

I suppose I must mention the 'C' word. Booking are now being taken for the festive season should you need any cover.

Finally, its been a sad few months as we have unfortunately lost some furry friends over the rainbow bridge. Our condolences to all concerned.

Take care everyone xx

Hi my furry friends, hope you've all had a lovely summer.

Now, as we reach the last Bank Holiday before the seasons change, I must start by sending our condolences to quite a few families who have lost furry pals in recent weeks, run free my friends without anymore suffering. You will be sadly missed by us all.

As the nights start to draw in, it will soon be time to start thinking about our safety on walks in the darker days. Remember, think about where you are walking and make sure that you and your pals are visible to traffic in the twilight, you might think it's still light enough but in shadows you will soon disappear. Light up collars are useful or high visibility jackets can be good but just take care if road walking.

Stay safe my furry pals.

Hi my furry pals. Hope you are all taking care in this super hot weather. As you can imagine, walks are not a priority at the moment, garden visits with plenty of shade and water are the priority, giving the chance to stretch legs, do the necessary and perhaps a nice cool treat (frozen lickimats or dog Popsicles always go down well).

There are a few very limited places for cat and small animal care if you are still planning a trip also summer pop-in's are available if you are planning a long day out and don't want to take your furry friends with you.

Enjoy the summer and take care. Plenty of sun cream for everyone please.

Hi my furry pals, I hope you are all well and finally looking forward to some spring weather and extra walks. Please be mindful of livestock if you are out in the countryside. For the safety of everyone please keep your pets on a lead.

It's been a mixed start to the year. New pals have been met and welcomed into the Furrytales family but very sadly, some have crossed over the rainbow bridge, they will be missed greatly.

Take care out and about, enjoy the sunshine and hopefully see you all soon.

🎄Hi my furry pals🎄

Are you all going to be on Santa's good list this year?

Hope you are all looking forward to lots of lovely walks and nice presents. 🎁Please be careful when eating all those goodies, they are not all good for you.

I would very much like to take this opportunity to thank you for choosing my small business to care for your furry friends this last year and look forward to seeing them all soon.

Wishing you all a Happy Christmas and best wishes for 2025 🐾🎄

Hi my furry pals

Hope you all had a good summer and are ready for the autumn season.

Unfortunately, during the last few months we have had to say some sad farewells to some of our furry friends, may they fly free without anymore pain and suffering.

We are also welcoming some new pals to our furry family and I look forward to working with you over the coming months.

Today I received this lovely review from a kind family whose pets I recently cared for:-

"Lynne looked after our cat and hamster while me and my family were away on a summer holiday and she did a fantastic job.

We returned home to everything in better order than we left and some very content pets. We’ll definitely be using her again!"

Take care now that the days are getting darker and chillier, remember to make yourself visible when walking, wear reflective items (not just you but your dog too) and have a torch, but most importantly be aware of your surroundings.

Look after yourselves my furry friends.
