Animal Rescue and Care - Twickenham Non-profit animal charity run completely by dedicated volunteers. www.animalrescueandcare.org.uk

Based in the London Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames, and we operate in the general areas of Surrey, Middlesex and parts of SW London, although we occasionally re-home animals further afield. At ARC our priority is to rescue, foster, re-home and assist all types of animals, while also offering advice, information and raise public awareness about animal welfare. All the animals that come in to ARC are looked after in private foster homes by loving experienced carers. They receive plenty of 'TLC' and any veterinary care that they require, including neutering. ARC does not put animals to sleep unless they are suffering or their quality of life is clearly unsatisfactory.

Spike & Milligan are two very handsome boars who arrived after their owner became unwell, we’re currently monitoring them to ensure they get along ok before rehoming. They’re only a year old so have lots of energy and will require a spacious indoor set up with plenty of enrichment.

We always recommend having two everything and using open ended hides plus ensuring your piggies get the opportunity to have floor time to burn off some energy and give them a change of scenery.

Please consider adopting if you’re thinking of adding Guinea pigs to your family, but please do lots of research first and always rule out allergies before committing.

Meet the goregous Millie! 💚

Millie came to us when we trapped her and her semi-feral children in a local garden. Millie and one of her adult daughters were pregnant so they stayed with us to have and raise their kittens. These kittens have now grown up and gone off to their foster homes and Millie has been enjoying her own space in her own foster home.

Millie settled in very quickly to her new place. Only 30 minutes after arriving she was coming to say hello and giving head bumps! Millie is an absolute beauty with a lovely temperament. She loves to be near you and is very keen on cuddles and strokes on the sofa and happy to curl up on your lap.

If you can give this goregous girl a place to call home, check out her page on our website!
