With so many lambs this year we wanted a way of identifying who belonged to who easily so we ordered some puppy Velcro collars and each ewe had their own colour coded lambs, these worked amazingly as when it came to tagging and DNA sampling we had no worries with who everyone was. With them being Velcro they could be easily adjusted depending on the size of the lambs but we had no worries about them having to come loose if need be 😁

Milnbank Layla and her lovely ewe lamb Nelly went off to their new home. Laylas fro was left on by request of the buyer, we think she looks super cute 😊

All jokes aside! Poor Izzy aborted both her lambs and was afa upset so instead of turning her out without a lamb I got one of the commercial sickys who was without a mum as was a triplet, these 2s dreams have come true! Izzy is so in love with her lamb, a happy ending for them both 🥰
