Who we look for
We provide professional pet services such as group & solo dog walking, pet sitting, dog visits, puppy care, and pet taxi rides.
To work for Project Pet Trowbridge you will need to be a committed, responsible and reliable dog lover. You must be presentable with good communication skills. Previous experience of working with animals is preferred, but not essential.
You must love dogs and enjoy working outdoors, in all weathers. You will get dirty, wet, cold and/or muddy and may stay this way the whole day. If this is an issue, please do not apply.
We are only looking for applicants that can commit for a considerable amount of time as you will build a close bond with your pack!
Dog walker & driver
The role is to collect, exercise and drop off dogs from their owner’s house. You will generally spend half of your day walking the dogs and half of your day driving. As the face of our business, you will chat to the owners and help build good client relationships. You must be available to work from Monday-Friday, 9am – 3pm. Equipment included in this role.
To be considered, you will need to:
- have a clean UK driving licence (for insurance purposes)
- be a confident and efficient driver
- use their car (insurance, tax and MOT required)
- be confident handling 4-5 dogs on and off lead
-Be available Monday - Friday between 9am and 3pm
- demonstrate that you can deliver great customer service
- have a reliable smart phone with internet access
- be happy working outdoors in all weather conditions, all day
- be very well presented with good English skills
- demonstrate that you are reliable and trustworthy
- submit for DBS police check
- complete our online pet first aid course
- Take photos of the dogs for their owners and update them using our App
- cover for team sickness/holiday
