Olive 🫒 stole all our hearts when she came in for her first puppy groom yesterday 😍😍

🐶 Why Are Puppy Grooms So Important? 🛁✨

One of the best things you can do for your puppy is introduce them to grooming from a young age.

Puppy grooms aren’t about getting the perfect haircut—they’re about building confidence and creating positive experiences that will last a lifetime.

During a puppy groom, your little one gets used to:
🐾 Being handled safely and gently.
✂️ The sound and feel of clippers and scissors.
🚿 Bathing, drying and brushing.
👂 Having their ears, paws and nails checked.
💕 Meeting new people and learning that grooming is nothing to be afraid of.

Starting early helps reduce anxiety in the future and makes regular grooming appointments much less stressful for both your dog and your groomer.

We always take things at your puppy’s pace, using lots of praise, patience and treats (where appropriate!) to make every visit a happy one.

A calm, confident puppy today grows into a relaxed adult dog who enjoys their grooming appointments. 🐾💙

Today we got invited to a super secret play session at the new doggy soft play opening in Woodford Halse! The boys had the best time and the grand opening is on the 25th July - make sure you pop along as the first 50 people get a free goodie bag! There’s also a really cute shop out the front selling lots of doggie things and we got a great haul!

It looks like it’s going to be another really hot week this coming week! As always please let me know if you would rather reschedule your appointment this week! 🥰

With the temperatures set to be very high next week, your dogs’ comfort and safety are our top priority 🐶💛

I completely understand if you would prefer to rearrange your appointment to avoid travelling during the hottest parts of the day — please just message us and i’ll do our best to help.

For dogs attending their appointments, we have air conditioning and extra fans running in the salon to keep things as cool and comfortable as possible.

Because of the heat, I will also be keeping dryer use to a minimum where I can. This means some dogs may go home slightly damp in areas such as around the ears, but this is simply to help avoid overheating and keep the grooming experience as safe and stress-free as possible.

Thank you all for your understanding and please remember to keep your pups cool, hydrated and avoid walking them during the hottest hours of the day ☀️🐾

Thank you to all of my customers bringing their grooms earlier this week to try and avoid the worst of the heat and to everyone who got me a cold drink/ice cream. It’s been greatly appreciated!

I am now off for a much needed week off! I will still be contactable but please note my replies may be slower than usual!

I return to work on Monday 6th July 🐾

Hope everyone is having a lovely Bank Holiday weekend and enjoying the sunshine ☀️🐶

Just a little reminder to please be careful with your dogs in this heat. While the salon is fully air conditioned and kept nice and cool for all our furry clients, we completely understand if anyone is worried about bringing their dog out during the hottest parts of the day.

If you feel it’s too warm to travel, please don’t hesitate to message me to rearrange your appointment — your dog’s comfort and safety always comes first ❤️
