Sorry to all my followers for not posting for a while.

It’s been a sad couple of months.

Unfortunately, my beautiful customer, Leanora passed away in June then her sweet boy Quincey passed a few weeks later. She and Quincey will always be remembered with such fondness, I miss them both 😢

Honey the little bundle of joy sadly passed away too, she will always be remembered, she loved her visits to see Maggie and have a pamper in the parlour 😢

Little Lenny passed away, I would look after him & Bruce occasionaly. Such a sweet lad. Sleep tight.

Goodbye to Bailey who has gone to a new home as his elderly owner isn’t able to look after him anymore. He’s gone to a new loving home. Enjoy your new life little boy.

This one’s been especially hard for me. My little Dexter who had been part of our family for 7 years sadly passed recently leaving a massive hole in our hearts. He had been an integral part of our lives loving his forest walks with Mags & I. Chasing squirrels and rolling in the frost covered forest floor. He met every dog that came for a groom over the years. I still see his face at the parlour door barking to come in with me and chill, then bark every time he knew their groom was finished and he could then say hello and get fussed over by their owners too. Thank you Dexy for all the wonderful times. We will always miss you, but you’re no longer suffering. Sleep tight Sexy Dexy Wexy 😢

This is the hard of my job. You build a bond with the owners & their dogs and it’s so sad. But, I’m very privileged to have been able to give them care & love during their time here for which I’ll always grateful

Evening everyone. After a beautiful week in St Ives with the family, it’s now back to business & doing what I love!

As some of you know, I’ve joined the pet Grooming business program ‘Pet Passion to profit’ as although I love what I do, since opening 7 years ago, I came to realise even working 6 days a week and being ‘extremely’ busy, I’m just not earning enough to pay for unexpected bills, save for a pension, or upgrade my v old car (Poobag).

So, I need to work smarter not harder and change my mindset that this is a business and it has to make a profit or there’s no point continuing.

Yes, since increasing my prices this year, I’m probably more expensive than some groomers, however, I’m 1-1, the dogs are safe and secure, I don’t rush the groom, I get to know your pooch and their owners. I use quality products and always give 110% & the dogs have free rein in my long secure driveway to play, wee or poo, (it doesn’t bother me 😂) . As long as they’re happy, I’m happy.

So, I’ve revamped my website, introduced a new logo (with thanks to Nikki at Harper Design, who’s been with me since the beginning) & I’ll be introducing teeth cleaning later in the year. Oh, how can I forget, there’s a new puppy package which I’m very excited about. This 4 stage process can also be used for v nervous dogs who need to go back to basics and reset.

Thank you again to all my lovely customers who’ve stayed with me since I started, I really do appreciate it.
