Happy Friday! 😄
Tank and Duke joined us on a group walk in the woods this morning. I imagined their terrier instinct would be overwhelmed (being in the woods) but they did so well 🩵
Callie had good fun in the private field! I love watching her free of the lead and muzzle 😊
Storm and Skye also had fun in another private field! A slight disadvantage of working with huskies is the VERY vocal enthusiasm during the drive 🤦‍♀️

I will miss my furry friends next week but I am very ready for my holiday 😅🏖️

Tuesday’s wonderful doggies 🤩

Thank you to my wonderful clients for making arrangements so I could have the bank holiday off! I had a blip of low self confidence today due to getting abuse and blame by members of the public who had no control over their aggressive dog. As a dog walker I deal with instances like this a lot, it makes you want to only walk in private fields, to avoid busy areas and walk at quiet times of the day. But we can’t always do that, we have to preempt and amend our walks while also ensuring the dogs have a great time!

I would like to thank my clients and lovely Ella for supporting me during the incident. The dogs were amazing, I couldn’t have been prouder of how they dealt with it.

Sheba, Nala and Dobby wanted to say thank you to the special biscuits they found at Preston Woods on Sunday. A nice reminder that there are kind people among us 🩷

Say hello to Bob, Hope and Willow who I’ve had the pleasure of sitting for a couple nights this week. It was wonderful watching Bob having fun on the group walk- I can’t help but smile seeing that one ear sticking up 🫶😄
We had unlimited cuddles on the sofa, and the girls enjoyed a spoon in bed 😊

Today we welcomed back Sheba, Nala and Dobby on the group walk in the FDM field 🩷 I am looking after these three for this weekend.
I am needing a chill one so there will be no paddle boarding this time 😆

Great fun with these nutters today 🤩
Mav and Ozzy explored somewhere new in Abbotskerswell 🫶
Storm and Skye met Gladys and Tubs in the field. Some corrections were needed but overall it went really well 😊
We also did some stick chewing, running around, and climbing on boulders in Dartmoor!

Thursday’s 4 walks! I started off the day with Mav and Gladys doing a bit of swimming in the lake and frolicking in the woods 🫶
Next I visited Luna the sausage who has grown in such confidence over the last 2 weeks, so we will be going on our first solo walk tomorrow 🤞
On the third walk we welcomed Ebony back to the group with Remy, Gladys and Tubs! Everyone was very excited and playful (I narrowly avoided a knee-butting 😅)
Lastly I took Storm and Skye the husky siblings on their first field visit. We will be building confidence, obedience skills and fitness over the next few sessions before introducing them to the groups 🩷

Also my parents took little man Monty out for the day!

It is amazing seeing the effect an experienced third-party can have on a dog’s confidence. I am looking forward to the coming weeks 😊
