🐾 DUE TO HIGH DEMAND… WE’RE RUNNING ANOTHER PUPPY CLASS! 🐾

Our previous puppy class filled up so quickly and I've already had more enquiries that I’ve decided to add another one! 🎉

Starting Wednesday 7th October at 6pm, this 4-week course is perfect for giving your puppy the best possible start.

We’ll be covering everything from building confidence and focus to essential life skills, all through positive, reward-based training 🐶

Expect:
🐾 Confidence building
🐾 Essential puppy skills
🐾 Focus and engagement
🐾 Learning around distractions
🐾 A fun and supportive environment for both pups and their humans

Classes are held at Canine Country Kitchen & Cafe and spaces are limited!

We’ve got another fantastic bunch of pups and owners joining us for puppy class! 🐶

Such a gorgeous variety of breeds, personalities and tiny four-legged chaos 🤣

There’s already been some amazing work done at home, which has given everyone a brilliant start, and I can’t wait to see these pups continue to grow in confidence and learn over the next few weeks!

Somehow, we managed to DODGE THE RAIN! 🌧️🤣

We made it all the way through the walk, got back to the van… and the heavens decided NOW was the perfect time to open the floodgates! 🙈

Hobbes was absolutely living his best life on the longline, enjoying his freedom and doing his own thing 🐾

Lucy, however, had her priorities firmly in order… forget the walk, she was most interested in the tiny snack dealer aka Gracie 😂🍪

Meanwhile, Sky and Storm were on a very important mission to locate water or mud.

Thankfully… they failed miserably! 🤣🙌

Clean dogs, dry-ish humans and a perfectly timed escape from the rain. I’ll take that as a win! 😂🐾

Milo, Nancy and Wilbur were ready for CHAOS from the second their paws hit the floor! 🤣🐾

And honestly… they didn’t disappoint! 😂

It was NON-STOP from start to finish with:
💨 Zoomies
🌊 Swimming
🍖 And plenty of treats from the Barkin’ Mad tiny snack dealer! 🤣

Three dogs. Zero chill. Absolutely brilliant! 😂🐾

Blast at Bridestones! 🐾💨

Chaos? ✔️
Freedom? ✔️
Running wild like they pay no bills? ✔️🤣

And, of course, we had the tiniest snack dealer in town… Gracie! 😂🍖

The dogs knew exactly who to follow — straight to the snack department! 🐶🤣

We set off expecting a nice, normal walk… 🐾

We made it 3 minutes. 😂

And then the chaos began.

Running, zooming, causing absolute mayhem… and it was NON-STOP! 🤣🤣

At that point, we decided there was absolutely no point trying to control the madness, so we just let them crack on and have the best time! 😂🐶💨

Sometimes you just have to embrace the chaos! 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣

Apologies for the very late walk photos… 🙈 I got completely sidetracked and then headed straight into this fantastic Loose Lead Workshop! 😂🐾

We had Esme and Lola (who walks with Wags & Wanders) join us, and both absolutely smashed it!

🐶 Esme worked with a mixture of toys and treats and did fantastic!

🐾 Lola, being the Labrador she is, decided treats were absolutely the way forward. 😂🍗

The best thing was that all the owners already knew what they needed to be doing — it was really about those little tweaks, putting everything into practice and then, most importantly, helping their dogs learn that loose lead walking still applies when you change the environment and add in distractions.

Because let's be honest… doing it perfectly in the quietest corner of your house is one thing. Doing it when there's dogs, smells, squirrels and general Border collie/Labrador nonsense happening everywhere is a whole different ball game! 🤣

A brilliant session with some fantastic teams! 🐾❤️

🎾 Ronan and the case of the ball that was almost returned… 😂

Ronan LOVES a ball.

In fact, I’m pretty sure if he had his way, the ball would simply become his new best friend and I’d be completely unnecessary! 🤣

The problem is, Ronan has decided that while he’s happy for you to take the ball… bringing it all the way back to you is where he draws the line.

He’ll come towards you… stop just out of reach… and look at you like, “There you go, you can have it from there!” 👀😂

So today we decided it was time to work on the final part of the mission — actually bringing the ball all the way back!

A bit of patience, a few rewards and plenty of ball-related negotiations later, we’re working on turning Ronan’s “almost retrieve” into a proper retrieve. 🎾🐾

Watch this space… we might just have a ball boy in the making! 😂
