Looking for a way for your dog to enjoy walks with a new best friend? I’m excited to introduce Paired Walks with Puck’s Pals!🐾

This new service allows me to give two compatible dogs the individual attention they need for exercise, enrichment, and training, while also providing safe, positive socialisation in a calm environment.

For dogs who are new to my care, an initial solo walk is required so I can build a relationship with them, learn about their personality and needs, and determine which dog they may be best matched with.
This may also be with my boy (Puck) meaning times and location for the walk can be more adaptable.
Paired Walk Price:
• 1 hour – £18 per dog

This includes transport to a suitable walking location where I can carefully introduce the dogs before setting off together. Throughout the walk, both dogs will receive equal attention, and the paired format helps keep vehicle time to a minimum during pick-up and drop-off.

I’m particularly excited to be offering this new service as I have gained a lot of experience working in large capacity doggy daycares but on the flip side I have since worked with dogs in rescue who have a lot of specific needs. This has helped me to realise that group settings are in no way the perfect fit for all dogs so I can’t wait to offer some gentle and supportive socialisation for the pups who need it most🧡

This little man is a typical terrier who always wants to go go go. He LOVES training and needs to constantly be interacting with people, dogs and the environment actually tire him out. And yes, Puck’s reactivity is mostly lead based frustration due to over-socialising him as a puppy in lockdown, but the reality is he can not and will not always be off lead. So, we just accept that this is how he will behave at the beginning of 80% of his walks and we’re okay with that as long as we get the focus after a little while❤️❤️

*DEPOSITS AND CANCELLATION FEES*

Hey everyone, just a quick update 🧡

As a small, solo-run business, last-minute cancellations have a big impact on my time and income. With busier summer months just around the corner, and after a lot of consideration, I have decided to introduce cancellation fees.

Here is my updated booking policy:

Deposits
A deposit of 20% will now be required to secure any pet sitting bookings.
Deposits are non-refundable, however can be transferred if over 48 hours notice is given.
This deposit increase will not impact any bookings already secured with the previous 10% deposit.

Cancellation fees
Any service cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will result in a cancellation fee.
This fee will be 50% of the service cost for walks, drop-ins or taxi services, or 50% of the outstanding balance on pet sitting.

Full payment
The full payment for walks, drop ins, pet taxi or pet sitting must be paid before the service is provided. For pet sitting, this would be the remaining 80% of the total bill. Invoices will be sent over on request.

I completely understand that life happens and we can never predict everything - especially with animals! I will always be understanding of this, and in certain circumstances exceptions can be made. I will continue to do my best to be as flexible as possible.

✨Friday Feature✨

Evie and I are still building a bond with regular visits to help her realise I am a safe person for her to rely on, and Teddy adores everyone and always knows where I keep my treats!❤️
