I have a one hour bath and dry slot available tomorrow (Thursday 2nd) at 12:30pm so I thought I’d do a deal to fill the spot🛁

£20 for a Small sized dog (terriers,dachshund , chihuahuas etc)
£30 for medium sized dog (cockapoos, spaniels, beagles, staffies)
£40 Large dog (labradors and greyhounds)

Unfortunately I am unable to accommodate x-large dogs, de-shedding brushes and full grooms in this slot.

Puppy Grooms!

Here’s some tips to ensure your puppy gets the best start to its grooming journey!

Confidence- some puppies can find new environments quite overwhelming. If this is the case, pick a groomers that will allow you to bring in your puppy for small 10 minute sessions where the puppy can have a sniff around and play with the grooomer before booking them in for their first grooms. Puppies can visit the grooming salon after they are fully vaccinated, so getting started early will help your puppy become familiar with the surroundings and being left with a new person!

Home grooming- the best way to get your puppy used to grooming is starting it in the safety of their own home where they are most relaxed. Bathing at home gets them used to the sensation of the water. We do not expect you to dry your pup at home, however, having the puppies in the room whist you dry your hair will begin to desensitise them to the noise! Brushing is super important especially for the fluffy pups! Using the ‘3 brush rule’ which is brush 3 times then reward with a treat or break depends on how they are with it, will help make it a positive and fun experience. The amount of times you brush can then increase with the puppies tolerance levels! Gentle holding of the face will help get your pup used to it before a groomer has to do things like trimming around their eyes.

No expectations- when your puppy has its first groom, we generally will do a brush, then bath and use the quite dryer whilst brushing them through again. If your pup is coping well with the process we can add on nail clips, face and hygiene trims but only if the puppy is still happy and confident with the process! We recommend 2 puppy grooms before they have their first full groom.
