A few weeks ago, here at Sniffs and Giggles, we ran our first Foundation Trial.

We enjoyed a very chilled Friday evening with scones, dog ice cream and an excellent standard of searching which saw all competitors taking home badges.

Our winners were Team Blake and Sarah, who also staged up to pre-entry. Our reserve went to Team Fern and Neill, on their NNA debut.

Huge thanks to Lisa for scribing and baking and to Alison for manning the car park, ensuring everything went smoothly.

We have had some lovely teams joining us for Odour Recognition Tests recently. This is to get started trialling with the National Nosework Association or to move up to the next stage of trialling. You can also work your way up the ORT qualifications without being a member of NNA and just for fun. They are a great achievement in themselves.

Congratulations to Team Hero, River, Bunty and Helga.

If you are interested in getting started or continuing this journey please get in touch- we have sessions this week on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Four lovely teams for our Sniffari session this week- working on searching in narrow and tight spaces, through pooling odour and working to source in the wind, going round and over obstacles. Awesome work and a gorgeous evening.

Sniffari sessions are for scentwork teams who are ready to build on what they already know and challenge themselves in new and varied environments.

Hi, I’m Kirsty and I’ve sniffed out a brand new adventure, my very own scentwork business for dogs and their humans.

I’ve absolutely loved my own scentwork journey with my three four legged assistants, , and . Together, we’ve been following our noses, having a paw-some time, and unleashing those natural sniffing talents.

So, if you’re in or around the Dundee area and fancy getting your pup involved, or carrying on your scentwork journey, give me a bark. I’d love to hear from you.
