We’re delighted to still be welcoming a small number of new clients to our calm, one-to-one grooming salon here in Tadcaster.

Our 2027 diary is now open… 🦋

For those of you who love to plan ahead, appointments can now be secured for 2027.

Whether you would like to reserve your dog’s regular grooming schedule for the year or simply make sure you have your preferred days and times, you can now book ahead.

As always, appointments are kept intentionally limited so that every dog can enjoy the calm, one-to-one Lumahalo experience.

Babs’ is back! 💕

A little Lumahalo first today… our first Miami Trim. 🌸

Babs’ owner has always groomed her herself, so being trusted with her today was incredibly special. Before her appointment, we had a consultation to talk through any preferences and requirements, and to give Babs’ the opportunity to meet me and become familiar with the salon.

Babs’ finish was created with a clean face, softly rounded topknot, shorter body and those lovely statement bracelets, with an oval shape.

Babs’ owner was happy with her finished look, and following her appointment, we have already agreed a couple of small tweaks for next time, and her ears are growing to create a fuller look. Those conversations at the end of a groom are so important, as they help us refine every detail to suit both the dog and their owner.

Sometimes it can take two or three appointments to find the exact shape, length and finish that feels just right, and that’s all part of creating a truly bespoke groom.

A very special mention for sweet Bonnie this week. 💕

Bonnie is a rescue from Dogs Trust and she is very sensitive and anxious, so with her owner we have been taking everything slowly with familiarisation visits. After two familiarisation visits, she returned for her first Radiant Rinse, enjoying a gentle bath and blow dry to help her become more comfortable with the salon environment and grooming process.

She did amazing and we were so proud of her. She has gone away for her holidays and we can’t wait to welcome Bonnie back again soon for her first full groom. 🌸

Pedro’s spa day 🦋

Pedro has been visiting family in Tadcaster for a little while, and we’ve had the pleasure of pampering him on two lovely occasions during his stay.

He heads back home on Monday, and we will definitely miss seeing his sweet little face at Lumahalo.

It’s been such a pleasure having you Pedro! Safe travels home and we hope to see you again one day 💕
