💕Cida💕

Meet Cida, he has been with me since the early days, coming to me just to have his nails trimmed as a puppy and over the years I have taken on his styling.

Cida is a retired show dog, one who has qualified for all of the major shows numerous times including crufts.

As he has aged he has had some health concerns, and as a result has had both of his eyes removed. Up until yesterday we kept him in a traditional show trim, but his lovely owner said enough was enough and it was time to make him more comfy.

As with alot of my dogs that I look after now, as they age, we do need to make adaptations to their groom, this could mean a groom that takes less time to do, one that requires less maintenance at home or a complete restyle to make them more comfortable.

For Cida, it was time to clip his body and shorten his feathering. This adaptation means it will be easier to maintain at home.

As your dogs age, I may makes suggestions of altering their groom, but if you feel it needs adaptating please do let me know.

💕Snix💕

A few weeks ago, with the permission of his owners, Kyle at The Woodbridge Vets reached out to me about Snix.

Snix is currently undergoing chemotherapy, and unfortunately his regular groomer was not in a position to groom him with this treatment.

After talking it through with Kyle, this was a no brainer for me, and of course I was happy to help. His owners, despite his condition, still wanted him to look his best and feel comfortable.

Snix was an absolute pleasure to groom, such a sweet boy. My heart goes out to his owners during this incredibly difficult time.
