Do you ever get the feeling you’re being watched? 👀🐾

I turned around to see all the shepherds…

Ummm… I think Silk may have already commenced the digging party and decided she didn’t need supervision! 😂

No barking.
No whining.
No fuss.

Just three girls silently staring at me as if to say:

“Well? Are you coming or not?”

One thing dogs are brilliant at is making sure you’re never alone. Whether you’re making a cup of tea, working, cleaning, or just trying to have five minutes to yourself, they’re always there, ready to supervise.

And honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️🐾

If I could tell every dog owner one thing, it wouldn’t be a new command.🐾

It would be this:

Be calm.
Be quiet.
Be confident.

Dogs don’t need constant instructions, reassurance, or management.

They need someone who can guide them through the world with steady leadership and clear direction.

When we learn to slow down, stay composed, and stop reacting to every little thing, our dogs often do the same.

Sometimes the biggest change in your dog starts with a change in you. 🐾

“But it worked…”

A dog stopping a behaviour doesn’t always mean they have learned how to cope.

When dogs experience something they find unpleasant, stress levels can rise and the brain switches into survival mode. In that moment, they are more likely to choose fight, flight, or freeze.

Real learning happens when a dog feels safe enough to think, process, and make better choices.

So next time your dog struggles, ask yourself:

Am I teaching my dog what to do, or simply stopping what I don’t want?

The difference matters more than many people realise. 🐾

🩸❤️ World Blood Donor Day ❤️🩸

Today we’re celebrating the incredible heroes who don’t wear capes… they wag their tails! 🐾

Meet Zooma, one of our amazing canine blood donors. By donating blood, dogs like Zooma help save the lives of other pets facing emergencies, surgeries, trauma, immune-mediated diseases, and many other serious conditions.

Just like human blood donors, canine donors provide a precious gift that cannot be manufactured and is often needed at a moment’s notice. One donation can help multiple dogs in need, giving them a second chance when they need it most.

We are incredibly proud of Zooma and all the wonderful donor dogs who quietly make a huge difference to the lives of others. ❤️

Thank you, Zooma, for being a lifesaver. 🐶🩸
