We offer dog daycare and boarding to small and medium sized dogs in a family home setting. We provide a high quality environment and bespoke care with plenty of walks and cuddles! We also offer pet pop-ins for cats and other small furries in their own home within a 5 mile radius.

At Chalford Pet Stop we are super careful with dogs in our care in the heat. I never walk dogs if it’s over 21/22 degrees.
Walks are done early morning and in woodland or shady areas. Low energy enrichment activities such as chews, treasure hunts, kongs and puzzles to keep dogs busy are done in the cool garden or inside. It might be a bit disappointing for dogs not to have two walks a day but my responsibility to keep them safe takes priority in the heat - and extra cuddles are administered to make up for it 🥰.

It’s hot 🥵 We’ve been enjoying early morning walks in the woods to avoid the heat and garden fun and enrichment in the afternoons. The cool mats are out, there’s always plenty of fresh water and cool shady spots to snooze in 😎

A bit of a look at our week, we had three new dogs, Doogle, Dotty and Archie, in for their first (trial) stays with us this week - all were super guests 💕. We’ve also been busy with lots of little guests, pop-ins and daycare ☺️

Big boy Max has been with us for his holidays - he’s such a softie and gets on with everyone whether big and small 💕
