🚨 OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM THE BOX 🚨

Many of you have been asking for an update regarding the ongoing occupation of the giant cardboard box.

After careful consideration, I can confirm that negotiations with FC have stalled.

My original demands were considered “excessive”, despite being entirely reasonable and including only a modest number of treatos, unlimited fusses, and guaranteed access to roast chicken.

As a result, I have fortified my position with a blanket and entered what experts are calling “a prolonged period of strategic napping.”

Please do not be alarmed by reports that I have fallen asleep during negotiations. This is a highly advanced bargaining technique.

The box remains under my control.

The treatos remain unpaid.

The occupation continues.

🐾 George’s Charity Spotlight 🐾

Today I’d like to use my little corner of the internet to shine a light on an incredible charity called War Paws.

War Paws helps the forgotten animals of war in countries such as Ukraine and Iraq. Every day, their dedicated team provides food, water, shelter and veterinary care to hundreds of animals who would otherwise have nowhere to turn.

One such animal is Luna, a beautiful dog rescued from the war in Ukraine and safely brought to the UK thanks to War Paws.

In Erbil, Iraq, War Paws currently cares for more than 700 dogs, along with numerous cats and donkeys. Many of these animals have suffered unimaginable hardships, including injury, neglect, starvation and the effects of conflict. The team works tirelessly in extremely challenging conditions to give them safety, comfort and hope.

Heartbreakingly, War Paws has been issued with an eviction notice and must relocate their shelter and veterinary clinic. They need to raise £260,000 to build a new home for the animals in their care.

Without this vital fundraising effort, the future for hundreds of vulnerable animals is uncertain.

To make matters even more difficult, their social media reach has been severely reduced, meaning fewer people are seeing their appeals and fundraising efforts.

So today I’m asking my wonderful followers to do what they do best: spread kindness.

Today is Mature Moggies Day (Senior Cat Day)! 🐾

A special day dedicated to celebrating our wonderful older cats, particularly those aged 11 years and over. Senior cats are full of character, wisdom, love, and often make the most amazing companions, yet they can sometimes be overlooked when it comes to finding new homes.

Today is a chance to appreciate these fabulous mature moggies, celebrate everything they bring to our lives, and help raise awareness of the many older cats still waiting for their forever families.

This is so sad friends, can we help?

Friends,
Sometimes we share happy stories, silly stories and tales of roast potatoes, but today is one of the difficult ones.
Yorkshire Cat Rescue has taken in 16 cats and kittens from heartbreaking circumstances after they were found abandoned in a property without food or water. Some were desperately dehydrated, several were suffering from severe infections, and tiny Baby Bean is currently fighting for his life.
The rescue team acted quickly, giving these little souls a chance they may not otherwise have had. Now they face enormous veterinary bills and need support to continue providing the care these cats so desperately deserve.
If you’re able to help, no matter how small the donation, I’m sure it would be greatly appreciated. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing their appeal so it reaches as many kind hearts as possible.
Every cat deserves safety, kindness, a full tummy and someone to fight for them when they cannot fight for themselves.
