Hello my name is Helen, owner and solo groomer at Purrfect Paws small animal grooming. Purrfect Paws was founded in 2009 after a love for all animals led me into the animal grooming industry. I have a huge passion for animal welfare, which is why welfare is always at the heart of my business ethos and services. I have 15yrs plus experience within the grooming industry, as well as many years experience in pet care as both a pet owner and pet professional. I currently hold a higher national diploma in animal management to distinction level which included modules on:
Animal Health and Welfare
Animal Behaviour and Training
Animal Nutrition
Animal Ethics and Legislation
In addition, I have also completed a CPD certification in Feline/Canine health and first aid training, along side a CPD certificate in feline behaviour in the grooming environment. my aim at Purrfect Paws is to offer a welfare based, one to one grooming service which focuses on the individual needs your pet. This means using a non forceful approach to grooming methods, and adjusting each booked session to the individual requirements and telos of the animal I am working with. I will never force or inflict distress on any animal in order to achieve an aesthetically pleasing groom. However, I will work with your pet to ensure their grooming requirements are fulfilled without compromising their welfare. If you would like further information or to discuss your pets requirements, please contact 07951 580101 or message the page directly.

Gypsy ❤️ fans
7yr old domestic long hair Gypsy popped along for s grooming session.
Being a long hair, sweet Gypsy has quite a thick coat which can be prone to matt development l, so her owmser felt she would benifit from an all over comb trim to reduce the length and make it more maintainable. She also received a hygeine trim to help when she uses the bathroom.
Gypsy also had a warm bath to help with her skin since she suffers with itching and sensitivity. Bathing her every so often really does help make her comfortable.
As usual Gypsy was very sweet and good natured about the whole affair! ☺️
Well done sweetie 😘
