Awwww I hope someone claims Dave 💙

Quick update on Dave the stray cat.

I know a lot of people have been following him, so I wanted to post publicly on this spotted page so everyone can see. Dave has finally been caught!

He had a nasty wound on his chest yesterday and needed urgent treatment. After months of trying, we finally managed to catch him, (Thank you to the couple who helped with this!!), and he is now at the local vets getting treatment for all his issues.

We are posting again because Dave does not have a microchip. If this is your cat, please get in touch ASAP. And if you are Dave’s owner, you will definitely be getting an earful from me too.

The important thing is that Dave is now in safe hands, getting the care he needs. Hopefully he can either be reunited with his original owners, if he has them, or come back to us.

Our vet bills have crept up to just under £2,000 - and that’s from doing what we always do… saying yes when animals need us most.

Sick puppies. Injured strays. Animals that had nowhere else to go.
We couldn’t turn our backs on them - so we didn’t. But now we’re feeling the weight of it.

Every single pound we spend goes straight into care - pain relief, emergency treatment, life saving procedures, follow ups… the lot. No fancy extras. Just giving them a chance 🐾
