How’s was your January? As February begins, it’s the perfect moment for a reality check. Are your big resolutions for life and business still on track, or has the noise started to take over?

At Carse & Waterman, we believe real progress isn't about doing more it’s about doing less, better and

to help our friends find that clarity, we’ve crafted the Limited Edition Deep Roast Focus.

An extra perk of coming by our office and meeting with our team to discuss focusing your business comms in 2026.

You don’t need more noise. You need more focus.

Learning about money should be an adventure.

We’re using rich storytelling and vibrant characters like Zion to make financial literacy accessible for kids.

A complex topic, made clear through creativity.

Keep an eye out for further updates!

✨ Behind every great story is a world brought to life through art! ✨

We’re thrilled to be working with the incredible team at Carse & Waterman Productions to bring the first book in our Pocket Money Adventures series to life: Ava Saves Up.

Their studio has created work for Michelin, New Look, ITV, BBC, Sky, and Universal Pictures, and we're incredibly honoured to be collaborating with them on this journey.

Our story introduces young readers to Silverton, the City of Speed, where everything feels like a race, and money choices matter. And every great adventure needs a villain… meet Zion the Lion! 🦁😈

Here’s an exclusive peek at early concept art for Zion, our mischievous character who brings plenty of drama to Ava’s journey.

Our website will be launching soon, where you’ll be able to subscribe for pre-order updates.

What do you think of Zion? 👇

Happy New Year. 👋

Last year was a lot. We’re hoping 2026 brings more kindness and a lot more calm.

The "welcome back" shock is real. The inboxes are full. The pressure is on.

If you’re staring at your comms challenges and feeling the overwhelm... you aren’t alone.

Let’s be real—today is just about surviving the emails so we can catch up on The Traitors.

Go easy on yourself. Here’s to a clearer, kinder year ahead.

Blair McDougall, Minister for Small Businesses, stopped by our office this week!

We talked about the very real challenge of staying awake during health and safety PowerPoints 😴, the power of strong IP to fuel business growth, and why animation is such an effective tool for making messages stick.

We also pretended our studio always looks that clean. It doesn’t.

(And we should’ve done something about the cardboard Randy Marsh head staring at everyone in the background.)

We had a cracking time at the Love Stoke 100 Film Showcase at the Potteries Museum & Art Gallery — celebrating brilliant local stories on the big screen.

Our own Daniel Waterman hosted a Q&A with puppet maker Daniel James, whose work’s been seen in Chicken Run 2, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, The Clangers and Netflix’s Wednesday.

Big thanks to everyone who made it happen — we’re always up for backing local talent and storytelling that sticks.

You can catch all the films over on the Love Stoke 100 YouTube channel:

We were proud to support Framescape’s Love Stoke 100 and the recent Let’s Talk Film event — a celebration of Stoke’s stories told by its next generation of filmmakers.

Over 150 students from local schools joined us for a day packed with creativity, inspiring speakers, and some seriously tough judging calls — with our own Daniel Waterman stepping in as MC for the day.

Huge congratulations to the winners — and to every local filmmaker who stepped up and shared their story. Stoke’s future is looking very bright (and brilliantly shot).

We’ve been testing Gaussian Splatting — a clever new way to scan 3D spaces.

We tried it on our studio. Now it looks like Thanos just clicked his fingers… and our office turned into a beautiful digital ghost.

Inside No. 9 never stops surprising — on screen or on stage.

We caught Stage/Fright at the Regent Theatre last week, and it brought back brilliant memories of working on Series 5, where we helped bring a few of those deliciously dark visual moments to life.

If you haven’t seen the series yet… what are you waiting for?
