Cat Naps Cattery

Cat Naps Cattery Safe & Cosy Cat Boarding in Stocksbridge, Sheffield. LICENCE No. AW_AB0075 I’m so thrilled you’re here – I would love to hear from you!

Hey, I'm Anna, the lady that owns the cosy cattery in her garden! Cat Naps Cattery is a petite (only 6 cat rooms) boarding service in the Stocksbridge area of Sheffield. I am also a Registered Veterinary nurse and dog trainer too. I have a huge passion for caring for animals and put my heart and soul into looking after each cat in my care. Another part of my job I LOVE connecting with you the cus

tomer and learning about your cats! I pride myself on being down-to-earth, friendly and kind, BUT also professional! It's massively important to me that Cat Naps has a homely/friendly vibe. As Cat Naps is a small-scale cattery, I am able to give my time on a one-to-one basis to your cat. I LOVE enrichment and have many toys, ideas and activities up my sleeve - so rest assured that your cat will not be left with nothing to do (unless that is what they want of course!)

I encourage you to bring their own food - minimising any upset tummies and any other homely items such as beds or blankets. I want this to be a home-from-home experience.

If you adopt a cat from a rescue and later find you’re no longer able to care for them, most adoption agreements require that you must return the cat to the same rescue 🐾

This isn’t about being strict - it’s to make sure the cat stays safe and well looked after. Reputable rescues have systems in place to make sure every animal goes to a loving, suitable home. If things don’t work out, they can step in to help, whether that’s offering advice, temporary support, or finding the cat a new family.

You must contact the rescue first rather than rehoming the cat yourself - they’re there to help ❤🐱

Moving house? 🏡
Remember it’s a huge change for your cat too.

New smells, new sounds, new layout… it can feel overwhelming. Keeping them safe and settled is so important — which is why a short stay at a cattery can be a calm, secure option while the chaos happens.

Peace of mind for you. Safety for them. 🐾

From Reactive to Relaxed | Online Course 🐾

My online course From Reactive to Relaxed is created to support owners living with reactive dogs who want clear, ethical and compassionate guidance.

Reactivity is not bad behaviour. It is a sign that a dog is struggling to cope emotionally in certain situations. Understanding this is the first step towards meaningful change.

This course is ideal if you:
🐾 Live outside my working area
🐾 Are on a waiting list for behaviour support
🐾 Feel overwhelmed or unsure how to help your dog
🐾 Want a force free approach grounded in behaviour science

Inside the course we cover:
🐾 What reactivity really is and why it develops
🐾 Triggers, thresholds and emotional overload
🐾 Reducing stress and creating calmer foundations
🐾 Ethical training choices and motivators
🐾 Foundation and lead skills for real life situations
🐾 Desensitisation and counter conditioning explained clearly

The course is self paced and includes lifetime access, allowing you to move at a pace that suits you and your dog.
