Our lovely vet nurse Lauren is hiking 26.2 miles in the Peak District on Saturday 13th June. She is raising money for Cancer Research and would be very grateful for any donations.

*IMPORTANT PET TRAVEL INFORMATION*

Since 22nd April 2026 EU Pet Passports will NO longer be valid if your main residence is not within the EU. Many of our clients with holiday homes have been using their EU address so their pets can have an EU passport but unfortunately this is no longer possible.
This applies to ALL EU pet passports, including those:
• Issued in an EU Member State or Northern Ireland
• Issued before 22 April 2026
EU Pet Passports can now only be issued to pet owners whose main residence is within the EU.
If you are travelling from Great Britain to the EU with your dog, cat or ferret you will now need an Animal Health Certificate (AHC) for EVERY trip.
⏳ Please do not leave this until the last minute:
AHCs must be arranged with an official veterinarian before travel, please allow a minimum of a month before travel to ensure this process is completed in time.

We are very excited to introduce you to the newest member of the VetShack Pack, Hayley.
Hayley qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2024 and has a special interest in medical nursing, laboratory work and wildlife rehabilitation. We are very lucky to have her joining us at VetShack.
