🐴🦔 A little wildlife rescue during last weeks riding lesson!
Sometimes the best lessons come with unexpected visitors. one of my clients and I came across this tiny baby hedgehog while out riding.
We carefully moved it to a shaded, safer spot away from any immediate danger before continuing our lesson. It's always important to look out for the wonderful wildlife that shares our countryside.
Days like these are a lovely reminder that horse riding is about so much more than being in the saddle. 💚

I currently have a few spaces opening up for new riders.

My coaching mainly focuses on rider position, confidence, and improving harmony between horse and rider. Sessions are always tailored to the individual partnership on the day, rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.

I work with children, teens, and adults of all levels, and travel to yards across Staffordshire and surrounding areas.

Hi Everyone,

Due to the weather warning i will be moving all lessons with clients to later on in the week or over the weekend it is to hot for myself and for youre four legged friends.

Please bare in mind the tempretures keep yourselves and horse cool and hydrated.

I will be in touch with all clients to move around appointments to where fits and suits all.

Another great session working on rider position and effectiveness in the saddle 🐎

In yesterday’s lesson we focused on:
• Relaxing the hands
• Sitting deeper into the saddle
• Improving rider suppleness and balance

By developing a stronger, more secure position, we are helping both rider and pony continue to thrive together while building a better overall connection and communication.

Correct rider biomechanics play a huge role in confidence, balance, and performance, especially when progressing towards jumping goals. Small adjustments can create a big difference in both comfort and effectiveness for horse and rider.

As we continue working together, the next session will incorporate exercises to help improve leg stability and stillness, further strengthening the rider’s position and effectiveness.

It’s been brilliant to see the progress already, and I’m looking forward to continuing building these foundations in future sessions.

Sorry for the radio silence this past week and a half folks iv had a rough week this week my pony got kicked in the field by one of my other horses. Causing alot of stress and upset then the vets discovered she had impaction colic which after 6 - 7 days of them coming 3-4 times a day to tube her i can say the fingers crossed were heading in the right direction.

This pony means the world to me so sorry for the lack of posts it was a rough week and iv worked my socks off to get her semi back to normal and i cant thank everyone around me and the vets enough for there support.

Attached below is a video of said pony scratching her butt on the tree stump last night.

But for now im going to get some well deserved rest and ill post again soon.

Hi guys,

I just thought i would write a little bit about me and where im hoping my coaching will get me in the future.

Im currently behind the scenes working on getting my new horse graded for me to achieve competeing higher up the levels in para dressage and am currently waiting for my irish draught sports horse stallion to grow up for breeding and hopefully produce a good solid dressage horse for me in the future.

You may wonder why i had gone into doing coaching as of now, well i am trying to save up to eventually buy a yard to be able to teach children how to ride as i know how much horses helped me growing up and how they could help other childrens lives.

Just thought id update you all on a little bit about me.
