Do you remember our vaccination drive at Wat Pa Temple earlier this year?

This temple is home to 200+ abandoned street dogs 🐶💔

And it all began with one woman.

Auntie Sumneang, a kind-hearted local nun, couldn’t bear to see dumped dogs starving - so she started feeding them… every single day, on her own.

But as the pack grew, the cost became too much for one person to carry.

That’s when we stepped in 🤝

Since then, we’ve been supporting Auntie Sumneang’s incredible work with:

🐾 Food
🐾 Medical care
🐾 Neutering & vaccinations

These dogs have no one else. You can help us keep this lifeline going 💚

Just £12 ($15) feeds a street dog for an entire month. Link to Donate in our bio.

If you can’t donate today, simply liking, commenting, or sharing this video makes a huge difference 🙏

Arrow is on the mend...

Since this little pup was rescued last week from one of the many temples in Prachinburi, we’re thrilled to see that her fractured back leg is starting to heal!

Our dedicated vet team fitted her with a soft splint to support her recovery, and we couldn’t brave prouder of this brave little girl.

We’ll keep you posted with her progress.

Chompoo is a gentle street dog who roams freely within her local community in Thailand, cared for by the people around her. When she developed severe nosebleeds and constant bloody sneezing, they brought her to our clinic for help.

Tests showed she was fighting multiple blood parasites. During her assessment, our vets discovered something unexpected - a sharp nail lodged deep in her intestines.

Because she was already so unwell, surgery carried a serious risk. The team focused on stabilising her with medication and monitoring her closely, hoping the nail would pass naturally.

After several worrying days, Chompoo passed it on her own.

With the immediate danger gone, she continued treatment for the parasites at our hospital and slowly regained her strength.

Today, Chompoo is back with her community - safe, brighter, and recovering well!

Thanks to the kindness of supporters like you, we’re able to be there for dogs like Chompoo when they need it most ❤️

Through our Jai Aid programme, we’re able to support incredible local feeders who feed and care for street dogs every single day 🐾

One of those amazing people is Auntie Neang, who spends every afternoon travelling up to 40km around the edge of the Khao Yai National Park on her motorbike to feed around 100 street dogs 🛵

🐶 The dogs know the sound of her engine and come running the moment she arrives.

Along her route, Neang recently came across a mother dog caring for five tiny puppies. By making sure the family receives food every single day, Neang is helping sustain them through those critical early weeks of the puppies’ lives.

Every day at 4PM, as the heat begins to drop, Neang starts preparing for another long feeding round ☀️

Through intense heat and difficult conditions, she shows up for these dogs day after day.

And you can help keep this lifeline going 💚 Just £12 ($15) feeds a street dog for an entire month.

If you can’t donate today, simply liking, commenting, or sharing this video makes a huge difference 🙏

Together, we can help make sure no dog goes hungry 🍚

Meet Arrow ❤️ A 6-month-old puppy who was found at a temple in Prachinburi, lying quietly at the temple steps and unable to put weight on his back leg after being injured in a road accident 😢

She had taken shelter there, where a local monk did what he could to care for him until help arrived.

When our team reached Arrow, we brought her into our care immediately and carried out X-rays at our hospital. Her injured leg was stabilised with a splint, and she is now resting as her long recovery begins.

The next few weeks will be important as we monitor how she responds to treatment.

Please follow us for updates on Arrow’s progress 🐾

Thank you for supporting our work - it allows us to respond and provide treatment for injured street dogs like Arrow who would otherwise receive no veterinary care.

Remember this poor boy Namtarn..., who we showed you last week?
He'd been attacked and left with painful, infected wounds. Namtarn isn’t alone anymore. He has a family now.🐕

Solving street dog issues takes a village... 🤝

Last Thursday Jai Dog officially launched our Community Volunteer Programme with the first onboarding session here in Nakhon Nayok.

This programme is designed to build stronger links between Jai, local communities, municipalities and villagers, helping us work together to improve the lives of street dogs and the people living alongside them.

Our Community Volunteers will play an important role as trusted local voices: helping share the right information about CNVR, responsible pet ownership and animal welfare, while also supporting better reporting of rescue cases, abuse concerns and dangerous dog behaviour in their communities.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined, shared feedback and committed to being part of this work. This is an important step towards safer, kinder and more informed communities for both people and dogs. 🐕

Every year on May 20th, we honor the resilience, loyalty, and unconditional love of rescue dogs everywhere 🐶

Millions of dogs enter shelters each year, many carrying stories of abandonment or hardship. Yet, despite their past, they possess an incredible capacity to forgive and become the most faithful companions we could ever ask for.

In Thailand, “rescue” looks different.

👉 It’s the street dog outside the 7-Eleven waiting for kindness.
👉 The mother protecting her puppies beside a busy road.
👉 The injured dog nobody stops for.
👉 The ones too often ignored simply because they were born alone on the street.

At Jai Dog Rescue, we believe every dog deserves safety, care, and compassion - regardless of where they call home.

For us, rescue is not just about adoption.

It’s about feeding hungry dogs, providing medical care, sterilising to prevent suffering before it starts, and building communities where street dogs and people can coexist safely.

🍚 Just £12 / $15 can feed a street dog for an entire month. This small act of kindness can completely change a life.

This National Rescue Dog Day, you can help by:

🐶 Adopting
🐶 Donating
🐶 Sharing our mission
🐶 Choosing compassion over cruelty

Because every dog matters - whether they live in a home, shelter, or on the streets ❤️

This photo was taken on Auntie Neang’s feeding route in Thailand.

Through Jai Aid, we support local rescuers and “aunties” who feed and care for street dogs every single day with food, medicine and veterinary support.

Your share helps local rescuers gain more visibility. Thank you so much for helping us spread the word.

This is Charlotte, a little pup who was hit by a car, leaving her with two broken back legs. She was helped by Kae, one of our JAI shelter team, and rushed to us for emergency care. Our rescue vet, Dr. Oum, fitted her with leg casts to support her healing. She had multiple fractures in her back legs, but she’s such a brave girl - Kae brought her to our clinic for weekly check-ups as she slowly recovered. After just one month, we started to see progress. And then - Kae adopted her. ❤️

From an injured little pup…to a safe and loving home!
Without your support, rescues like Charlotte wouldn’t be possible.
Your kindness gives dogs like her a second chance.
