Many of you know Collar&CoMax started with the support of my daughter Becca at Collar&Co. She let me tag along to her business, helped me get my first customers, taught me social media etiquette (she’s very strict!), and basically guided me through getting started as a sole trader in the competitive world of dog walking after being made redundant from a job I’d had for nearly half my life. It was a scary new chapter.
The best part of it all is that I was learning from one of the very best in the dog training and walking business. If you’ve been lucky enough to have Becca walk or train your dogs, you’ll know exactly what I mean.
Now that we’ve built a core customer base, I’m simply changing the name of this little business to make it a bit more personal to me. I’m always grateful to have Becca there for advice, and as in life, our two businesses will always be entwined.
