✨Hot Weather Policy✨

The safety and wellbeing of your dog is always my top priority. During periods of hot weather, if I believe temperatures are too high or conditions are unsafe for walking, I may need to adjust the scheduled walk time to a cooler part of the day, such as the evening, or cancel the walk altogether.

This decision will always be made in the best interest of your pet to prevent overheating, dehydration, or injury from hot pavements and extreme temperatures.

I will contact owners as soon as possible to discuss alternative arrangements where needed.

Hi everyone ☀️

With the weather expected to be very hot over the coming week, just a gentle reminder that I require at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes to bookings.

As all of next week is looking especially warm and bookings are at peak capacity, I’m happy to move walks later on in the day than usual to allow for cooler and safer walks for the dogs 🐾

Please note that if less than 24 hours’ notice is given — for example cancelling on the day of the session or only a few hours before the walk — the full fee for that day’s session will still apply, as the slot has been reserved specifically for your dog.

🐾Friendly CCTV whilst pet sitting policy 🐾

Just a reminder that if CCTV or recording devices are present in the property whilst I am pet sitting, these must be disclosed to me in advance, including whether they record audio or video and which areas are covered.

Under UK privacy and data protection guidance, including guidance from the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), CCTV should be used transparently and respectfully, particularly where someone is staying or working within the home. Cameras should not be placed in private areas such as bedrooms or bathrooms, and any monitoring should follow UK GDPR and domestic CCTV guidance where applicable.

For clarity and mutual comfort, I ask that all cameras are declared before the booking begins.
