🐓CPD- Animal Trainers Workshops!🐓

🌟I had a busy but incredible day yesterday with Louise at Animal Trainers' Workshops. animaltrainersworkshops.

🐓I attended the Level 1 Chicken Training Workshop! Training Chickens…..I can sense you thinking what and how does that help with puppy training?!…🤔 Well read on if you would like to find out more….

🐓So, I got to work with Kelis. A recently rescued chicken, and she had never yet had any training. I was very nervous- but slowly got used to her perching on my arm and carrying her to the table- I struggled to coordinate balancing her and walking!!
We used a clicker, some tasty chicken rewards and a purple marker spot for her to learn to peck.

🐓Teaching another species is so valuable, using a clicker to mark behaviours towards our end goal followed by a tasty reward. Kellis went from having never been on a table, heard a clicker, pecking a purple colour on the table, to also being able to distinguish the colour when 3 other colours were added! A fabulous experience, great CPD to work on skills of timing, delivery, shaping behaviours, reward delivery and remembering what it is like to be a student!

🌟Highly recommended for any trainers wanting some fabulous CPD and also Louise is hoping to launch some public sessions too soon- I will be sure to to keep you posted on that!

🐓As usual- I was not good at taking any photos or video footage- too busy learning and having fun! Kind of wish I had now though to to look back on the day and what was achieved- so until I go again for Level 2- I photographed my certificate for you all to see!! 🤣

🐶Welcome to Puppy School 🐶

❤️Cuteness overload incoming!❤️

🌟I had the pleasure of meeting these tiny pups and their families last week to start their Puppy School journey in Cubbington at the Cubbington Village Hall and Pavilion.

🐾Everyone has been settling in well to class and I am excited about our remaining weeks of fun and learning together.

🐾A warm welcome goes to ;
Benny, Woody, Arlo, Riley and Jasper.

❤️🐶By complete chance there are 2 siblings in the class- any guesses which pups?!….🤔

Very sad to learn today that Croft House Pool is closing. Learning to swim is such an important life skill which both of my children learnt with Flippers Swim School running at the pool. If anyone knows of any pools that they may be able to use to continue their teaching in please reach out to Louise at Flippers Swim school- I am sharing her post in the hope that it will help raise awareness , and she may find a new pool to continue teaching in🙏

🎓Graduation- Congratulations! 🎉🎓

🎉Congratulations goes to this super group of pups and their families for Graduating Puppy class in Southam a few weeks ago.

🎉Congratulations goes to Gus, Bramble, Poppy, Freyja, Heidi and Otto (not photographed).

🌟It has been a pleasure having you all in class, seeing your progress and confidence flourish each week and superb tricks in our final session- well done to you all.

🐾I have missed you all in class the past few weeks, keep up the fabulous practice and look forward to seeing you return to Super Pup or Scent work classes in future. Keep in touch.

🎓Graduation🎓

🎉Our first Puppy School Graduation this week on Monday night saw these fabulous Pups and their owners Graduate class in Cubbington at the Cubbington Village Hall and Pavilion.

🐶We have had a busy and fun 6 weeks, and it has been fabulous to see these pups grow in confidence , settle into class and progress their skills each week. We ended our final session with fabulous tricks that everyone had taught their pups! Simply fabulous ❤️

🎉Congratulations goes to Millie, Hector, Willow and Kali.

🌟Thank you for letting me be a part of your pups early learning journey!

❤️I am also delighted that you have ALL chosen to continue and return for our follow on class Super Pup and look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Tricks in our Graduation class last night!
We have had some fabulous tricks shared in class this week and last night I managed to capture most on video. Sadly my camera skills did not work well to capture Heidi also doing a fabulous roll over. Well done to you all. Fabulous work 😀🐾🐶

🐶Welcome back to classes Super Pups!🐶

🐾I recently welcomed back to classes these fabulous pups and their families to our Super Pup classes in Cubbington and Southam.

🐶We have been settling back into class, busy with lots of new exercises designed to help during adolescence and completing missions to continue supporting socialisation.

🌟It is great to have you all back in classes to continue your training;
🐶Birdie, Pickle, Marti and Pedro in Cubbington class AND
🐶Marvyn, Barney and Bailey in Southam class.

🌟The weeks have been flying by and we are already half way through the course! How did that happen?! Looking forward to our remaining weeks of fun and learning together.
