My week with the lovely Lulu ❤️
Ft. Bertie, Nel and Lyla

Lovely Lulu came to stay with us for the week, and she settled in so quickly 🥰 That’s always one of the biggest benefits of having a few shorter stays beforehand — it means we already know each other, and it feels familiar and safe for them when they come back for a longer stay.

She slotted straight into our little routine, made herself right at home, and got stuck into plenty of walks, sniffs, and sofa time ❤️ Lulu has such a sweet nature, and it’s been so nice watching her confidence grow each time she stays.

She also enjoyed spending time with Bertie, Nel and Lyla — lots of little interactions, walks together, and just happily co-existing (with the occasional bit of mischief thrown in 😄).
It’s always so rewarding seeing dogs feel relaxed, comfortable, and part of the family while they’re here. Lulu, you’ve been an absolute dream to have — we’ll miss you! ❤️

I’ve been a proper busy bee these past few weeks 🐝 thank you for keeping me so busy!

On top of juggling a few health niggles (because apparently life likes to keep things interesting 😅), I’ve still been out and about doing what I love most… all things dogs. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Here’s just a few of the lovely souls I’ve had the absolute pleasure of spending time with lately ❤️

I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with little Ruby this week and what a sweet, sensitive, playful little soul she is.

She growls at herself in mirrors (which makes me laugh every time). Fully committed to defending the house from… herself. Brave girl.

She enjoys a croissant in the morning - very refined taste - and by bedtime she’s straight on the end of my bed like she’s always belonged there. No fuss, no drama, just quietly slots herself into place.

She’s been extremely well behaved and has fitted right into my routine. Calm and gentle.

Some dogs take a while to settle. Ruby just… did.

Proper lovely little presence to have around 🤍

Great place to sit there, Maple 😆

I’ve been looking after Maple for months now, and this is the first time she’s chosen to sit close to me like this.

No calling her over.
No treats.
No fuss.

She just quietly came and sat pretty much on me 😆

If you know Maple, you’ll know she’s fiercely independent.
So moments like this feel special.

It’s easy to think dog care is just walks and feeding times, but a lot of it is consistency. Turning up calmly. Respecting their boundaries. Letting them move at their own pace.

When a dog finally relaxes enough to choose closeness, it means they feel safe. And that’s something you can’t rush.

Little things like this make my day.

Love these woods with my little gent Bertie.

The quiet, the light through the trees, and breathing in all that oxygen. Always my favourite place to wander — muddy wellies and all.

I’ve just completed a CPD-accredited Dog First Aid & Emergency Canine Care course and I wish I’d done this so much sooner.

It was super informative, really practical, and one of those courses that makes you think “every dog owner should know this.” From spotting the early signs that something’s wrong, to knowing what to do in an emergency before you can get to the vets - it gave me so much confidence and clarity.
We spend so much time learning about training, food, enrichment and walks (all important!) but first aid is one of those things you don’t realise you need… until you really need it. And in those moments, staying calm and knowing what to do can make all the difference.

If you’re a dog owner, especially if your dog is adventurous, reactive, elderly, or just a bit accident-prone - I genuinely can’t recommend a course like this enough. It’s empowering, reassuring, and could one day save your dog’s life.

Very grateful I’ve done it now 💛🐶

Dog first aid training complete ✅️

I’ve completed my CPD-accredited Dog First Aid & Emergency Canine Care training today.
Hopefully it’s knowledge I’ll never need to use, but if one of the dogs in my care ever did have an emergency, I now have the confidence and skills to act quickly and calmly until vet help is reached.

Your dogs are always cared for with lots of love, but also with safety and wellbeing at the heart of everything I do.

Thanks so much to everyone who trusts me with their dogs, I’ll always keep learning to be the best I can be for them 🥰
