🎉 National SQP Week 🎉

This week, we’re celebrating our trusted animal medicines advisors – our SQPs (Suitably Qualified Persons).

SQPs undergo specialist qualifications and complete ongoing professional development to ensure they can safely prescribe and advise on a range of animal medicines. Their knowledge, expertise, and dedication play a vital role in the care and support we provide to our clients and their animals every day.

From left to right, meet our fantastic SQP team:

🐄 Amelia – Qualified to prescribe across farm animals, companion animals, and equines. A fun fact about Amelia: she was crowned National SQP of the Year 2024! 🏆

🐶 Nena – Qualified to prescribe for companion animals. As well as being an SQP, Nena is also a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team.

⛳ David – Our farmer-facing SQP, and a familiar face to many of our farming clients. When he’s not advising on the latest products and animal health solutions, you’ll likely find him enjoying a round of golf on the course!

SQPs play a vital role in everything we do, and National SQP Week is the perfect opportunity to recognise and thank them for their hard work, commitment, and expertise.

Happy Birthday to Cat & Nena from all of us here at Castle Farm Vets Malton! 🎉🎂

Cat has spent her special day doing what she does best – looking after all things sheep 🐑, while Nena took a trip to visit our colleagues over in Barnard Castle 🚗

Despite their busy schedules, both made it back just in time for cake (priorities, of course!) 🍰

And yes… birthdays on April Fools’ Day – we promise these two are real! 😉🎈
