Our Tack Room is open all year round for anyone wanting a romantic break or time away with horses or doggos. Tucked away in the beautiful village of Ruston on the private Dawnay Estate, The Tack Room is a cosy boutique retreat surrounded by rolling countryside, horses and peaceful village life. Perfect for couples looking to slow down, walkers exploring the North York Moors National Park, or horse owners wanting a unique getaway with their four-legged companion.

Wake up to birdsong, enjoy breakfast made with fresh eggs from our farm, spend your days exploring the moors and Yorkshire coast, then return to a chilled bottle of Prosecco and a peaceful evening in the countryside.

Our feet are just touching the ground after our first Healing Retreat, and we’re so excited for our next one happening on 2–4 August with a handful of spaces left to fill. We wanted to create more than just another riding camp. We wanted to create a peaceful space where horse and rider could slow down and connect. Time to breathe, to learn, to laugh, to heal and to enjoy each other’s company.
