Super proud moment. All our conservation work to breed and release Rose chafers and Lesser stag beetles has earned a Blue Peter Green badge. Sharing enthusiasm, admiration and interest in nature is so important to us. Well done son!

Another collection of eggs from our Pimelia Darkling beetles. We’ve now had 65 eggs and I know there will be more buried in the sand. So far 9 have hatched into larvae, which are growing well 😃

A check through all the Protaetia aeruginosa tubs has revealed we have 215 larvae (with more still coming). They are now available via our website in groups of 5 or 10 as mixed colour larvae.

We can provide first generation red or black larvae, but not yet green as we only had males. Please specify if you want a certain colour.
