🥰 Vali.

This girl had her Xray carried out yesterday, where it has been confirmed that she has cranial cruciate ligament damage. CCL.

Vali will need surgery for this injury.

Cruciate ligament is the main band inside a dogs knee joint that connects the femur to the shin bone. Over time the ligament slowly frays and weakens over time like an old rope. Where it finally tears or ruptures.

Sadly this happened to Vali on Wednesday whilst she was having far too much fun with her friends.. outside conditions were wet and muddy due to all of the rainfall.

After Valis upcoming surgery, her healing is crucial and rehabilitation to get back to her zoomie adorable self.

I have since sent a round robin message to all of the teams guardians. To ask that I am kept in the loop regarding “any changes”to their fur babies movements, whether stairs, jumping on furniture etc, as well as any changes in their behaviour, eating and passing of stools. It’s important for me to know of any changes, so that I can accommodate for such, creating a plan.
As our furry members get older , arthritis sets in also.

I will keep you all updated on Valis upcoming medical journey. Bless her..
Sending you much love and healing vibes to this beautiful soul.

Happy weekend everyone.

Vali..

Today’s usual meet up between friends, resulted with an injury. When the 2 Gills get together, with their trio of sausages, and Gilly lil sister. Vali.

Each week following our trails where we have 360c look outs by afar! When all clear, Vali begins her freedom, all under the watchful eyes of her big brother. Vali and her friend Gillie haven’t seen one another for a few weeks, so today the girls were beside themselves with their playtime together.

With much wetter conditions than we seen for a while, brought much more mud and water, where the girls just ran, loving their chase with plenty of zoomies and high speed running.

With all of valis running around, towards the end of our out n abouts , she couldn’t bare weight on one of her paws..with checking her paws over finding nothing untoward, a lead was put on, heading back to the adventure mobile straight away.

This afternoon Vali visited the vets where its believed that she may of torn her
Cruciate ligament.
An X-ray is booked for tomorrow.

Big hugs Vali.
🥰
