On Thursday we received a phone call about injuries fox in a garden in Little Walden, by the time we could attend, fox disappeared. Hours later the fox was spotted in different garden. We went in, she hid under the decking. Sadly we were unable to get to her that evening so we regrouped. Thankfully the vixen was still in the same garden, staying close to the safe place she found under the decking, with loads of luck and help of amazing friends we managed to dismantle part of the decking to get to her. Sadly her injuries were sever and she was euthanised. She has spend last two weeks dragging her back leg, after possible RTA. Thank you to .hughes.vets yet again for going above and beyond for our wildlife

Please speak with your children, and make them aware deliberately harming wildlife is a criminal offence. A group of children were seen stamping on a litter of baby bunnies, this one was the only survivor. He weighs 39 grams, and chances are he won’t survive his injuries. Unfortunately we do not have a description of the children involved, but this isn’t the first incident locally that we are aware of.

UPDATE: we have turned comments off, many of you commented on how disturbing the behaviour of the children involve was. We agree, but we want to spread awareness not hatred & rage. Let’s show our children that we live in society full of love, kindness and mutual understanding

What a day 🥺 The biggest thank you to Gail and her team Equine Table Top Sales - We are completely blown away with how much time and effort goes into organising these events. They raise much needed funds for so many rescue’s & rehabilitations like ourselves. We have never had such a busy season with the wildlife and this mind blowing amount means we have the ability to continue helping so many more animals 🥺. Thank you to everyone who came today, and to all of the lovely dogs we met during the dog show 🐾

** UPDATE - Mia is now safe ❤️ We would like to say a huge thank you to Lucy Sutton-Long who gave up her entire evening last night to help 🐾❤️

Mia went missing on Sunday evening in Panfield. She has been spotted in Wimbish & Great Samford. Last sighting this morning in Tye Green.
Mia is a good natured dog but is very timid, if you see her just ignore her and call numbers on the poster below

Sadly we have seen lots of people walking their dogs in this heat 😢 cats and rabbits are also very susceptible to heat stroke.
