Its hard to believe that nearly 13 weeks ago Teddy arrived 🐻 with that i can't lie have been some struggles. I had 4 weeks off fully for maternity leave before coming back odd days to catch up. I don't think we can question my work ethic 🤣 but its also whats possibly letting me down at the moment.
Having your own business is so incredibly hard really if we all think about it returning to work 4 weeks after a baby is.... crazy 🤯 . Having to send a 10 week old baby to nursery for the first time is as sad as you can imagine it to be. Im currently trying to balance making sure im not letting customers down while I also try and keep some of my "maternity days" for me. And this is where my problem lies i should only be in tue/thur/fri 9.30-3pm sat 9am-12p but currently to fit eveyone in and to make sure im not letting anyone down im crossing my boundaries and im working late im working Mondays and Wednesdays and Saturdays im working late.
Working like this is starting to take a strain on me and how im working and is resulting in alot of tears 🤣.
My appointments are running nearly 8 weeks ahead, my ideal working day is 3 or 4 dogs in my normal hours and its nice and calm and relaxed for me and the dogs. Going forward this is what I will be sticking with if I have nothing for a few weeks I wont be squeezing eveyone in. My cancellation policy is still running as normal if you cancel last minute you will be required to pay for the missed appointment and if you dont come in at all then you wont be offered a new appointment.
Hopfully working like this going forward will help me maintain the balance i want and provide everyone with the best possible service
