What a day for Lyra!

So unbelievably proud of this little girl today! We nearly didn’t make the trip as it was nearly 2 hours away in Durham but I’m SO glad we did because she absolutely smashed it! 🥰

🥈 2nd in AV Puppy Under 6 Months, out of 6 puppies

🥇 1st Best Condition, out of a massive 20 dogs

🥇 2nd Prettiest Bitch, out of 13 dogs

🏆 RESERVE CHAMPION, from a championship line-up of 10!

At only 5 months old, I honestly couldn’t have asked any more from her, not only did she come home with an amazing haul of rosettes, she took the whole atmosphere of a huge showground completely in her stride! Dogs, horses, crowds and everything else going on around her 💪🏼

Every show is another bit of experience for us both, and watching her confidence grow each time makes me ridiculously proud 🥰❤️

Lyra is coming along very nicely! Will be nearly time for our first ever champ show! 🥰❤️

I DON’T THINK THIS DAY COULD HAVE GONE ANY BETTER!! 🤩

Today we headed over to Otley Canine Open Show, and honestly, what a day!

Lyra was an absolute superstar from the minute we got there until we left, she took the busy show atmosphere, all the dogs, people and noise completely in her stride like she’d been doing it for years, she never put a foot wrong and I honestly couldn’t be prouder of how she handled herself all day ❤️

Then came the fun dog classes:

She started off by placing 5th out of 8 in the Puppy (6 months & under) class, we then went into the Best Pedigree Puppy class with around 7 puppies, where she only went and took 1st place! 🤩

That meant we were through to the Best Puppy in Show final against around 8-9 class winners, and I still can’t believe it… LYRA WON BEST PUPPY IN SHOW!! 🥳🥰

I am absolutely over the moon and so unbelievably proud of this little girl, every mile travelled, every ringcraft session and every bit of training is starting to pay off, and today she showed exactly what she’s capable of 💪🏼

Bring on the next adventure, this little legend is only just getting started! 🐾🥳

Well Lyra has been absolutely incredible!! It was a very busy show, Lyra didn’t bat an eyelid at anything and we even came 2nd in best pedigree out of a class of 8! What an amazing day we have had! A massive thank you to Eirinn Nolan for coming with me and helping me 🥰❤️

What an amazing day me and Lyra have had!

First off we went to Leeds Championship Dog Show for Lyra to soak in the atmosphere and she bossed it like a pro! Nothing phased her one bit, we then went and did the good citizen scheme and got our bronze test!

Then we went to the match night at Wath and came 2nd out of a class of 4!

Flora Lyra’s sister even joined us and came 3rd, she has never done any Ringcraft or been in a busy dog environment and she smashed it!

Absolutely thrilled to bits with Lyra and mega proud 🥰❤️🥰
