Well Lyra has done me proud again, we went to the south Wales championship show yesterday and we came 5th out of 6 in minor puppy and unfortunately didn’t get placed in puppy but it’s all about the experience especially in a strong class ❤️🥰

Well done to Mary with Flo you did super well with her ❤️

And we also got our first ever critique from Goyt valley premier open show yesterday which I’m super pleased with 🥳🥰

What a day at Goyt valley premier open show!

Lyra absolutely smashed it out the park and came 1st in puppy, then went on to win best puppy in breed!

Unfortunately we didn’t get placed in best puppy in show as there was 11 in the class, but she worked her little heart out for me I’m super super proud! 🥳🥰❤️

Sid also won his open class and then went to win best in breed and then came 4th in best in show 🥰❤️

Well done to Mary McManus who came 2nd in puppy! What an amazing day had by all 🥳🥰❤️

Today we stepped into 4 very strong classes 11 Minor Puppies and 10 Puppies in all 4 classes!

Unfortunately, we didn’t come away with a placing this time, but I couldn’t be prouder of Lyra and the way she behaved!

I’ll admit my nerves got the better of me today, but it’s all part of the learning curve for both of us. Every show is another experience under our belts, and hopefully next time it won’t feel quite as daunting!

Regardless of the result, I’m incredibly proud of my girl 💜 Onwards and upwards, lyra pants! 🥰❤️

I do have to mention that one of our puppies Kadi did get a placing and came 4th and 5th out of 10 puppies which I am super proud of ❤️

Would like to thank everybody who came to support me today! It was much appreciated

What a day for Lyra!

So unbelievably proud of this little girl today! We nearly didn’t make the trip as it was nearly 2 hours away in Durham but I’m SO glad we did because she absolutely smashed it! 🥰

🥈 2nd in AV Puppy Under 6 Months, out of 6 puppies

🥇 1st Best Condition, out of a massive 20 dogs

🥇 2nd Prettiest Bitch, out of 13 dogs

🏆 RESERVE CHAMPION, from a championship line-up of 10!

At only 5 months old, I honestly couldn’t have asked any more from her, not only did she come home with an amazing haul of rosettes, she took the whole atmosphere of a huge showground completely in her stride! Dogs, horses, crowds and everything else going on around her 💪🏼

Every show is another bit of experience for us both, and watching her confidence grow each time makes me ridiculously proud 🥰❤️

Lyra is coming along very nicely! Will be nearly time for our first ever champ show! 🥰❤️

I DON’T THINK THIS DAY COULD HAVE GONE ANY BETTER!! 🤩

Today we headed over to Otley Canine Open Show, and honestly, what a day!

Lyra was an absolute superstar from the minute we got there until we left, she took the busy show atmosphere, all the dogs, people and noise completely in her stride like she’d been doing it for years, she never put a foot wrong and I honestly couldn’t be prouder of how she handled herself all day ❤️

Then came the fun dog classes:

She started off by placing 5th out of 8 in the Puppy (6 months & under) class, we then went into the Best Pedigree Puppy class with around 7 puppies, where she only went and took 1st place! 🤩

That meant we were through to the Best Puppy in Show final against around 8-9 class winners, and I still can’t believe it… LYRA WON BEST PUPPY IN SHOW!! 🥳🥰

I am absolutely over the moon and so unbelievably proud of this little girl, every mile travelled, every ringcraft session and every bit of training is starting to pay off, and today she showed exactly what she’s capable of 💪🏼

Bring on the next adventure, this little legend is only just getting started! 🐾🥳

Massive thank you to Mary McManus for coming to support me and helping me massively 😘🥰
