Let’s talk about grief. 🤍
This is Coppett Hill. The ashes of my beloved dog, Tatty, are scattered up here, and every now and again I come alone to remember her.
I remember the love, companionship, walks, cuddles and laughter she brought us. When my Dad died suddenly, Tatty was only a puppy, but somehow she knew we needed her. She gave us cuddles, made us laugh and was simply there for us.
Our animals become such an important part of our lives, and losing them can leave an enormous hole.
We made a photo book of Tatty, which we regularly look through with the children. It’s one of the ways we keep her memory alive.
How do you remember your animals?
Share a photo and a little story about your furry friends below — we’d love to read them.
Ali and I have both experienced the heartbreak of losing animals we love, so we understand how hard it can be.
If you are facing the end of your pet’s life, whether you need compassionate palliative care at home or support with that awful final decision, we are here for you.
We’ll support you and your beloved friend every step of the way, helping to make their final days as peaceful and gentle as possible, at home and surrounded by those they love.
Please reach out if you need us. We are here.
