The Chick Inn 🏨
Ready for guests from the weekend ☀️
Worried about your hens when your on holiday? Moving house? Short or long stays needed?
🏡 The set up:
> 4x6ft plastic Shed, with ventilation with automatic door opener. Perches inside. Bedded on Shavings.
>4x2 meter heavy duty run from AlphaPet. Full rain cover, 16g wire skirt and boarding. Tires, logs and a sand bath inside.
At the moment there is only one ‘inn’. The second is being prepared and built now.
What’s included?
Feed, and General Care all included in the price🌽 fed on Heygates Country Layers Pellets. They will be fed Ad-lib through the day. Depending on what I’ve grown and have available (dependent on season) they can have some veg from the garden as a treat. 🪴
🦆🐓Who can stay? 🐓🦆
Any breed of chicken is allowed to stay, including cockerels if you have them.
Ducks could also stay too, I will provide a small plastic pond at this time. No chickens and ducks will be housed together, so if you’ve got both coming to stay, that means that they will be in separate pens. (Once my second pen is ready)
Please no sick animals, all guests must be healthy and FREE from mites and lice please. I will not accept ill birds.
When can I drop off and collect? 🚗
Drop off can be from 3:30pm onwards.
Collection before 12:00pm please so that I can clean for next guests.
How much will it cost to stay? 💰
The charge for your stay is £2.50 per day, per bird. Payment can be made on collection of your birds.
